Too scented and drying

I was given this as a Christmas gift. I used it once and was immediately overwhelmed by the strong licorice scent. I know that some people have said that they like the smell, but for me it was way too strong and unpleasant. I've never understood why Lush uses so much fragrance in their products. Besides that, the soap lathers well and cleanses pretty well, although I found it too stripping for my combination skin. I'd recommend this more for people with very oily skin, but even then I think there are better products out there.

I have been using this product for years. It is my go to item for oily breakout prone skin. This soap leaves my skin feeling very clean. Their online store is excellent and easy to use.

This charcoal bar from Lush has done wonders for my skin! It lasts forever and doesn’t have a weird smell like other charcoal soaps. My pores and face have never felt better! I highly recommend this product.

Smooth face

This is something I will definitely continue to use and buy it leaves my skin filling smooth and clear iv noticed a difference in just one week it's a little weird washing with something black but it definitely holds to its name

Useing this on my face after a sweaty day is the best, makes my skin soft and doesnt dry it out too much. Even brings black heads and pimples to the surface after using it for easy removal. I have bad back acne and after two uses it cleared it up perfectly. Recommend for anyone with oily skin and bad acne. You can feel the beads in the charcoal bar take affect on your skin right away

My son had very bad acne as a teen, I bought this for him at Lush and he used every shower. His face cleared up so fast, it worked wonders! I used it as well once in awhile and my face does not like any cleansers, but this did not irritate my skin. :)
