sugar plum fairy
Price is reasonable, grainy sugar, wet lips & then apply the product. Does the work not bad, I like the taste..got the sugar plum fairy. Not animal tested. Loose sugar so it does it messy. has many different flavor to choose from. A little rough on the lips. A bit rough for my liking.
I didnt really care for this product. Mine got all dried up in the pot after a few weeks and its pretty much unusable now. Save your money and just mix 1 part coconut oil or olive oil to 2 parts sugar and you have the SAME THING.
Don't mean to find fault with this one, but a lip scrub?? Is it really necessary? It sounds a little harsh to me. I'd much rather prefer a softer way' maybe a thin film of vaseline to keep lips soft and chapfree.
Lush is my mecca. I purchase from Lush every other week and the last time I was there I thought I would treat my lips to some candy creation. This definitely disappointed me which is hard to admit. The flavor was a bit much and when the sugar gets in there and rubs off your dead skin, your supposed to lick it off? um...no thanks. Pretty gross, also the sugar is so messy!
I was really disappointed in this product. I got mine in a limited edition flavor called "The Kiss" around Valentine's Day. It smells great, but I'm not a huge fan of the taste - I'd rather wipe it off than lick it off as the instructions say to do. The packaging is nice and you do get a lot of product, but I feel like it's just a jar of flavored sugars and salts, and therefore not worth the price.
This scrub gets kind of messy. It's hard to get product on your finger and it's hard to keep it on your lips while you scrub. I don't know what it is about this, but it doesn't really get the dry skin off my lips. It doesn't moisturize either, so I feel like it's just a huge waste.
If you're on the market for a scrub, I highly recommend the e.l.f. lip exfoliator - it's great!
I think I will make my own lip scrub in the future. But if I ever want to splurge I will definitely splurge on this bright pink, cute glass jar, Bubblegum flavored lip scrub. It smells so good that I would love to eat it! It exfoliates my skin well and it is perfect for the winter months when lips can get chapped. Don't forget to moisturize after scrubbing!
I was super intrigued by this product but was disappointed. I tried it out in store, and the taste wasn't very good. You are supposed to rub this on your lips to get off the dry skin, then you can eat it because it is an edible product. I usually like bubblegum flavoured things, but this was something I couldn't see myself using again and again because the taste was not good. I instead bought the mint julip flavour, but never find myself using it either because there is never amazing, wow, results.
I'm a big fan of Lush products but this one was not a keeper for me..
I found this pretty messy and not very effective!! when scooped out of the jar its kinda hard to keep it all together, I end up losing a lot of it.
smells, looks and tastes great but that's about it!!
