I liked the Lush beeswax lip balm but found it a big pricey, but the quality is better than most products in the drug store, leaves my lips soft and smooth
Although it may seem a bit pricey, this lip balm is the most effective vegan balm I've found! I was surprised at how well it worked for not containing beeswax. Canadian winters mean extremely chapped and cracked lips, so I was happy that a little of this product goes a long way. One application will do you the entire day. It doesn't immediately absorb and creates a nice barrier from the harsh cold. The only downside is that it's a tub, not a tube, and it does have an overwhelming lemon scent (almost like a lemon cleaner), but you'll get used to it over time. Probably the best lip balm out there for vegans.
I got this one year as a sample from some shop in the mall around holiday time. It comes in a tiny little round tin that weighs only 10g... For $11.50The name can confuse some people but there is no beeswax in this lip balm. Once you know that then you kinda understand the name better. It has its pros and cons. The pros: it's really good for anyone who has drip or cracked lips that hurt or are irritated. It takes that pain right away and its very moisturizing. It has a lot of hydrating & protecting ingredients in it. But to me it has a nasty lemony flavor and to oily for me. And it's not worth the price $11.50 for a tiny tiny tin.
