A lot of people are saying that it is too harsh for the face - you should never use harsh exfoliators there! I've only ever used this product on my body, specifically my legs and feet. It makes for a great close shave. I wouldnt put this on the face, but I also wouldnt use any exfoliator on the face unless the beads are incredibly fine. I love this product, smells great and smooths out your skin.

Smells great, skin feels soft. Do not use on any open sores/popped zits as it will really burn. Same goes if you have sensitive skin. Good for exfoliating before shaving legs. It did become runny before the best before date was up so be aware of that.

This was such a nice cleanser to use. Left my skin soft and did not cause a break out.

Very expensive but worth every penny. I love using this with lush's cuticle butter for an amazing foot and hand spa scrub experience.

My notion behind getting this best-seller was because I felt that my skin was dull and flakey, not only under my nose, but especially my legs. I never really exfoliated prior to now, but it really has made a difference to the absorption of my other products, including the face masks above.

My Verdict
• AMAZING scent; I love using this product
• salt can be harsh if rubbed too hard
• salt dissolves when rinsed off making the bathtub/sink gunk-less!
• gets rid of unpleasant odours easily (aka armpits)
• skin feels super smooth after with no dry-abrasive feeling

Ironically, my skin is so sensitive, that I can't use this on my face, but it's brilliant on the rest of my body. A favourite is arms & legs, as it gets rid of rough patches and has such a fresh scent. Just love it and it is so effective. Found the best way to apply is go in the shower, lather, then rinse off. As long as you're dry when you put it on, it works, as if your skin is wet, it won't 'stick' and just slide around useless on your wet skin. A definite must-have.

it's a love and hate thing with this. i love the smell and i love lush products. every time i go to their store,it's like stepping into a spa. with that said, i found it to be too scratchy & irritating for my face so i ended up using it as a body scrub. i love the idea thought but when i did use it, it was baby skin soft.

Im not a fan of this particular product. I usually like LUSH products a lot, I would not repurchase it. It left my skin feelin dry and I have found other facial scrubs that works better.

Love the smell. A bit harsh on the face, but great if you have dry skin. Makes face feel soft. Stings a bit however
