It's ok but not worth the hype

I only use this because I like the smell of lavander and enjoy that the colour of it is purple. Since i use a lot of other things with lavander in them for my bedtime routine, I like incorporating this into it as a collection. I put it not only only on my hands but my legs and arms and feet.

Soothing scents

This body butter is a cult favourite, and it didn’t take me long to figure out why! This lotion is soothing on the skin, and smells amazing! I use it nightly to moisturize my arms and legs!

I would buy this again

This smells simply amazing. I was hoping that it might help with my toddler sleeping, it hasn't seemed to but I think that might be down to my toddler and not the product. it certainly seems to calm her and she loves me massaging it into her skin. it's not greasy, leaves little residue and results in very soft skin!

Love this body lotion , smells amazing , so relaxing and makes your skin feel soft. It absorbs very well , it is the perfect addition to the twilight body gel.

Smells so good!

Pretty good moisturizer and smells absolutely lovely. I’ve put this cream in to my bed time routine to help me relax and unwind. The lavender smell is super pleasant and the cream leaves my skin super hydrated and soft.

My new love

I recently ordered this one due to elbow grease not being in stock and wow. I'm upset that it took this long for me to try it! I love lavender but find that lots of the time it ends up smelling too sweet or too much like perfume. This stuff still smells natural but isn't just plain lavender. The lotion goes on nice and smooth and soaks in fast. The smell stayed for a long time and I kept catching myself smelling my arm like a freak! I have a feeling that this will be my new go to lotion, especially right before bed or when I'm stressed!

Strong scent, but definitely calming

I have a chronic sleep disorder and have great difficulty falling asleep. I've been on several medications for this but none have solved the issue. I'm really down for anything that promises to help me out. When I heard about this product, I was super excited and purchased it as soon as it was back in stock.
The smell is nice, but nothing unique, it is very overwhelming and strongly lavender. I am scent sensitive so thankfully it wears down relatively quickly.
The nights I have used it, I still have trouble sleeping- a body lotion isn't going to solve a medical condition. However, I have definitely felt its effects. My mind has been calmer and a few times, I woke up feeling as if I'd had better quality sleep.
The bottom line is I don't think this will fix insomnia. But it smells good and is a good body lotion with good, drowsy, effects. I would recommend this to anyone with sleep issues or just wants to relax. It's a tad expensive but it's largely organic and natural, and you get a good amount.

Sleepy hand and body lotion is a light purple cream. Although lavender should be the main scent here, to me it smells extremely sweet, like burnt sugar, with a bit of lavender.
It is very thick, so I wouldn’t call it a lotion. Like all the other LUSH lotions, it sits on my skin for a while until it gets fully absorbed, so don’t expect to slather this on and get dressed immediately. However, if you use it right before bed time, your PJ’s, and probably sheets, too, will smell like sweet, sugary lavender.
