Hydrates damaged hair

A family member introduced this Lusters Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion to me several years ago and I recently decided to give it another try. This hair lotion definitely softens smooths nourishes and adds shine to my hair. I mainly use it for braids and this has helped minimize breakage while taking the braids out. This lotion is pink with a creamy texture like a conditioner and you only need about a dime size amount for shoulder length hair.

This is a classic hair lotion among the Black community. My mom used to use this on my hair when I was a little girl and I still use it to this day. I use it if I feel that my hair is on the drier side (especially in the winter) and needs a little added moisture. It absorbs really well into the hair and keeps it feeling soft and shiny and moisturized for a few hours. It works great on natural and relaxed hair.
