Breaks my daughter out

I like the price of Luvs. They are inexpensive, but with that comes some problems. My daughter has sensitive skin, and while she breaks out at multiple brands of diapers, Luvs has ALWAYS been the worst. She will break out within minutes, with a rash resembling some kind of chemical reaction, even if she's dry. They also have a very odd, chemical, unnatural smell to them. We stay away!!

You get what you pay for

We bought these when our second child was born as we used them with our first and they are so cheaply made now. My son soaked through these in nothing flat. Would not buy again unless in a pinch.

With improvements, this could be a perfect diaper!

I love this brand of baby diapers. The value is incomparable to other brands. They perform well. However, I think they need to fix some issues we have had with them. Absorbency is average. If I don't change my child right away, there will be leaks. Being a busy mom, I don't always notice right away. They do fit my babies well. They seem to be comfortable. They're all constantly on the move without issues.

Good but not my first choice in diapers

I love these diapers and they smell really good except when they're wet!! When they are wet man do they stink! They are good and absorbent and I like the price tag but they do run really small. they run a size smaller than any other brand on the market. I feel like I can get just as good of a deal on store brand diapers.

Causes rash

These diapers made my son break out in a rash. He has sensitive skin. I hate the smell of them too. They are also really ugly. The cheap store brand ones are better than these.

Luvs diapers are a good cost savings alternative to Huggies and Pampers. You really can save $150 a year like the commercial says when buying Luvs. The only issue is that when they get full they tend to expand and leakage occurs. I did not have this issue with Huggies or Pampers but I mostly only have this issue overnight because my daughter rarely has the same diaper on for that long. lol. It's never leaked enough to wet the sheet just her onsie.

When I was a first time mom I had tried all of the more expensive big name brands like Pampers and Huggies. As I became a more experienced mom, I decided to give Luv's a try and I am so glad I did. Honestly, the only difference I saw was the price. My kids had no leaks, and they were rather cute. I really liked the savings that I was able to pass on for other items like toys, etc. The only issue I found was that in my area many stores did not carry this brand.

Luvs is probably the cheapest "name brand" diaper 9unless you have a coupon for the others, but I have personally found the quality to be not much better than most store brand diapers. I thought the diapers were a little too stiff and papery and I can't imagine they were that comfortable for my baby. The price is good, but there are a couple of store brands that I feel are better quality and even a little cheaper. I have not tried them in about a year and I've think they might have improved their design, but I have not tried them since then.

I agree with the previous reviewer - there's nothing wrong with Luvs. I learned quickly that most diapers have very comparable absorbencies, so it really comes down to how well a diaper fits on Baby as the most important factor. I only really used them for my youngest and Luvs weren't my absolute favourite brand, but they certainly got the job done and I would happily recommend this product.
