The refills are a bit expensive, but it prevents the spread of germs, which is great when you live in a communal dorm
#GOTITFREE — A convenient dispenser that is mess free and helps you keep germs at bay. A quality hand soap that is not irritating on your skin. Nice scent that is not overpowering. A great price for a product that keeps my family clean and germ free.
I really like the convenience and effectiveness of this product. I do wish there were more varieties of scents and colours available. Great for keeping germs to a minimum, especially during cold season.
So I got this product for free as a result of a mail in rebate offer. It was relatively easy to insert the soap into the dispenser. I have this in my kitchen right by the kitchen sink. It is great when dealing with raw meat to not have to touch the soap dispenser. The dispenser does dispense too much soap in my opinion. I could easily wash my hands with half the amount of soap. Yes, the soap refill is very expensive. I found some on sale at Rexall for less than $1.50 so I stocked up. When it depletes I will probably just pry open the container and refill it with a cheaper soap.
i didnt purchase it but my friend have this and i dont like their sensor and release the soap too slow.
other day it was leaked from bottom and its no good.. He had this for about a year.
Who ever came up with the idea was genius, because this is awesome. hands free no touching no mess cleans well and the kids are very happy with it.
il fonctionnait pas souvent tres bien par exemple parfois il falait que je passe ma main plusieurs fois avant que le capteur envoie du savon
I received a coupon for this item, was curious and like to try out new items. Was interested in the no-touch system and wanted to put it in the bathroom, the place where it is the most useful or could be. I went to buy the dispenser and noticed the price of the refills, holy cow, these are not cheap. I am waiting for a super duper special on these. haha... I only bought this because it does come with a soap insert and the dispenser was free, with a mail-in rebate.
It is slow and needs time to react, so if you are in a rush, it won't be. It also doesn't dispense enough at a time, becomes expensive if you double up all the time, but if you use this in the kitchen, forget about it. Don't buy it at all. Not worth the money, it will cost more than the regular pump action and it is not safer or cheaper to use. It still needs to be tweaked, add some soap to the initial amount it dispenses and add some to the refill bottle, but don't hike the price. Life is expensive enough and to buy this with young children who will wash their hands more often just to use the dispenser, it becomes truly expensive.
I am not impressed with this item. The product is a tad slow, but nothing in life is instant. For the entire package, sure it has it's benefits, but not in my household. I give it an average rating. You don't need to use this product for clean hands. A simple pump action dispenser with a refill bottle is good for me. I can wipe the pump clean every day when I do dishes, which disinfects the pump and ready for another day of duties.
Why was this so important? Some households can benefit, but if your hands are always so dirty you need to have an automatic dispenser, so be it, buy it and enjoy. My needs are not met, too expensive for me.
My daughter is not a huge fan neither. She is a clean freak and doesn't see the point to using this for the cost. The scents aren't available everywhere and I had a hard time finding the original dispenser, not even a nice one too. I have seen better ones on t.v. and the internet. Bulky and ugly for my taste. It is in the bathroom hiding, needs to be there more, serves a better purpose there than in the kitchen. It is quite slow, takes a few to react and to dispense. I need the amount to be more, doesn't leave enough on my hand, need to use the pump, can select how much with it. I will keep the dispenser, will fill it myself, I use softsoap, feels good on my hands.
