I love this product! We have it sitting on our kitchen counter by the sink and use it several times a day. It makes cleaning up easier and less messy as we just wave a hand underneath and it pours soap right into our messy hands. The cost of the refills can be a bit steep, so buy them when there is a good sale price. Cannot do without this in my kitchen now.
I like that the soap is good to my skin and that I don't have to touch anything. Its not only good to prevent germs but also when I have yucky hands I don't have to get stuff all over a soap container. I don't think I will buy this product all the time and I don't want to waste it.
I love this product!! I just wish it were a little cheaper. Even the refills are a tad bit expensive. The no-touch aspect of it is Awesome, if I only had a no touch faucet too!
I really like these. They are great for the kids as my daughter is 3 and thinks she need a hand full of soap to wash her hands with a pump one. I really loved the smell of the green one! They work amazing!
A friend of mine has one of these units, and I immediately saw the appeal. Having several children of my own whose priorities do NOT include personal hygiene, this is "cool" enough that my kids love to wash their hands at my friend's house. Again. And again. And again.
So in other words, we'd run out of soap almost immediately.
I think this is a great idea and especially good for the cold & flu months as it's one less surface I'd have to keep clean (due to the no-touch aspect). As another reviewer mentioned, I'd definitely want a hands-free sink too to really get the full benefit. That and a gargantuan supply of refills for this unit. I'd like to see a unit like this that can accept any liquid soap refills so that I am not forced to constantly buy a very specific product.
I am considering purchasing one for our home, but am still a little on the fence about it.
The only reason why I purchased this product was because I have a toddler in the house. The soap dispenser that I had before, would get completely disgusting as my daughter would get soap all over the pump, etc.
The no touch system is great. You simply put your hand under the sensor, and the soap disperses onto your hand. It gives you the proper amount of soap, and none is going to waste. The dispenser stays clean, too.
It was a bit pricey, as regular hand soap is quite inexpensive to buy - But, I found it to be well worth the price!
Also, Lysol seems to offer a lot of great coupons (and contests) on their Facebook page!
When I saw the commercial for these I thought this sounded ridiculously stupid, because who cares if your soap dispenser has germs on it if you're about to wash your hands...But it reality they are pretty handy (no pun intended) Especially the one for the kitchen, because who knew putting soap on a sponge regularly was such an inconvenience (and that's not me being sarcastic) Otherwise, I still think they are still a bit unnecessary unless your hands are always covered in glue, in which case getting soap is one hassle, but then you would need an automatic sink as well. At any rate, its pretty fun to use for the first couple times. I'm sure it would make kids more excited to wash their hands, for me when I was younger, I thought the foam soap was rad, which is probably half the price, but maybe you have high-brow kids, or maybe you're a kid at heart in which case, what are you waiting for, buy this product stat!
I got 2 Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap Systems. One in the kitchen and the other in the bathroom. As a nursing student the number one rule is WASH YOUR HANDS!! It's so nice to be able to do this without touching a surface full of germs. Like many people have said it's fantastic in the kitchen especially when dealing with meat. I have had no problem with it releasing soap onto the counter tops, in fact my brother was over and he commented that he liked it but that it was too slow (he's a little impatient I think!) and he needed to wave his hand over it twice to get the amount of soap he likes. You betcha I think it's a fantastic idea and will continue to use them throughout the house!
