Nasty crap.
Purchased four items- pepperoni pizza rolls, krinkle-cut french fries, cheesy garlic melt pizza, and california mixed vegetables. Unbelievably bad food. Except for the mixed veg which was ok, considering they were frozen. How could anyone screw up frozen french fries? Anyway, save your money and shop elsewhere.
Chatty Kathy Staff Members
I visited a M&M;'s Store today in Kingston, ON and by the time I left the store with purchases, I practically knew the entire personal life ie: the staff member's children, where they go to school, other tid bits concerning her personal life, not cool and unprofessional! Perhaps, in general, staff members should be reminded to keep their personal life to themselves rather than discussing it with M&M;'s customers! Almost walked out...again, unprofessional conduct. This has happened to me at both stores in the city and I certainly do not encourage it!
Very unhealthy
I’ve tried many products and I’m so disappointed in myself why I even bother their food is so unhealthy for you why buy frozen food here is crazy in todays world with everything going on you have no idea how bad it is for you why shop here there is so much better quality of food and eating proper healthy food !!
Old boot
Bought 32$ 4 pack bacon wrapped tenderloin. Cooked carefully to medium-well
Tougher than an old boot! When cut into it, it came apart to become an unrecognizable piece of something.
Will never go back to M&M;!
NOTE: Attached photo not mine. Don't know how to remove it.
Don’t waste money on low grade meat
In September I purchased a four pack of bacon wrapped beef tenderloin steaks. Worst purchase ever! We bbq’d two. The bacon came off and the steak was a left over end of some type. It looked awful and had tons of sinew. You would never have know it to be tenderloin. I highly doubt it was! We later ate the next two and they were not any better in texture. We buy our tenderloin from Costco and this was not what you should expect from tenderloin! I bought two if the side dishes to bbq along with the “steak” and they both tasted the same. I contacted customer service who gave me the run around. They said I could bring in the food, wrappers or receipt. I did not have those but thought that they could retrieve the proof from my customer appreciation card! Next, customer service said they would reimburse me with gift cards. A month later and still nothing. Surprise! Surprise! Stick with Costco or a real butcher’s product. I actually bought another four pack a couple of weeks after the first purchase thinking that the first purchase was a bad batch. I was wrong! Just as bad! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SHOP ELSEWHERE! It is ridiculous that I am the one chasing the company for reimbursement. Isn’t that their job, to keep customers. They suck!!!!
Home cooked quality
I love shopping here, everything is packaged in stackable/freezable packages, very nice and organized, store is not too big and everything is clearly marked
Stop shopping here
I worked here for a couple years. Sure frozen food simple easy. But people really do not realize how bad it is for you. Think about it the next time you shop here. Think about it the next time you feed your children this food
Frozen tempura "jumbo" pacific shrimp
There is nothing JUMBO about this product. The proportion of batter to actual shrimp is about 70% by weight (I did the math). I could not return it because I lost the receipt. The shrimp are straight and slim and not at all JUMBO. Go into any grocery store and see what jumbo shrimp really are. This batter to product ratio has happened before with battered fish fillets. I took that back for a refund.
I love this store
M&M;Meat Shop is amazing! All their products are amazing and very well prepared. From easy dinners to amazing deserts, I shop frequently and always look for the newer products to try them.
Quick homemade meals
I always struggle to maje a good healthy supper middle of the werk. M&M;meat shops are a lifesaverfor me. I particularly love their potroasts and chicken fingers. My kids love their pasta especially the lasagna. I think everything there iswortha try. They often have good deals to take advantage of as well.
