I just wrote a giant review and lost it at sign in. I could cry..or yell.

It was a Monday, early evening when we picked up the mail. We arrived home, I opened the ML envelope and the little eyes saw what was inside... "IS THAT FOR ME?!" Sheer excitement.

I neglected to check at the time of ordering, but I am very thankful that the Mabel's Labels Limited Edition Camp Label Pack came with TWO bag tags! I have 2 girls and was able to avert a pending crisis!

While we looked at the different sizes and shapes of labels, we thought of our own possible uses for summer / upcoming programs.

Sticky Labels / Skinny-Minis - thermal cup, lip care, toothbrush & paste, hairbrush, eye drops, sunglasses
Tag Mates - hats, sweater, bathing suit, towel, fabric snack bags, mini personal items..even the ipod!
Shoe labels - any and all shoes! ...crocs, runners, flipflops...
Bag Tags - lunch box / bag, swim bag, camera bag, portable folding picnic blanket...

I look forward to upcoming package / style / theme / shape / colour releases from Mabel's Labels. There is nothing more exciting for a child with a rare name, then to have that special name professionally printed on their very own *something*. ...plus STICKERS!!! We all love stickers.

Notes:

- Older children should be encouraged to choose items to be labelled; this will encourage pride in ownership and responsibility

- Be mindful of what you put on the labels (full name? phone number?) and what the intended purpose will be; Full name on a toothbrush would be super, but not on the exterior of a backpack.

I hadn't paid attention at the time of ordering, but having 2 girls, I am eternally grateful that the Mabel's Labels Limited Edition Camp Label Pack come with TWO metal bag tags. Phew - crisis averted.

We looked through the remaining labels, noting what each size / shape would be good for which items we will be using throughout the summer / programs.

Sticky Labels / Skinny-Minis - sunglasses, water toys, lip care, sunscreen, thermal cup...
Tag Mates - hats, boots (since the inner area isn't visible) mini personal items; wristwatch, even the ipod!
Shoe labels - any foot wear at all, including slippers, crocs...
Bag Tags - lunch box / bag, backpack, camera bag, portable picnic blanket

The potential of tags is essentially only limited to one's imagination. Older kids should be encouraged to select items which need labeling (a favourite notebook, markers, etc) It will certainly encourage care and ownership over prized possessions.

While it has only been a short few days and minimal exposure to the elements or washing, I am happy to report that we are still 100% stuck on!

I look forward to additional designs, shapes, styles and packages released by ML. There is nothing more special to a child with a unique name to see that name professionally written, just for them! ..and I'll just say.. STICKERS!!!

Note: Be mindful of what information you select to put on the tags, based on how visible they would be / intended use. Example, your child's full name sticker on a toothbrush would be great, but not on an external bag tag.

My kids love it but the price is not as affordable as I would like it. Its very durable and lasts for a long time so it makes up for the increase in price compared to other brands and methods out there

I tried Mabel's label and found them easy to apply and very fun for kids to keep track of their belongings at Camp and School. I really like this product and have recommended to family and friends.

I tested Mabel's label and one concern was that after washing a few times a couple of the labels came off in the washing machine and dryer. No major concern. You get lots of labels so they can be replaced. I feel this does not happen too often. So no need to panic. I just wanted to provide a thorough review.

Mabel's Labels were definitely easy to apply! And soooo super adorable. I ordered some for my niece! I definitely felt that Mabel's Labels stuck well and have lasted a few weeks so far. I hope to see longevity with the Mabel's Labels products! So far the quality is great! I used to label items with blank sticker labels from my local Staples store, but they would always fall off- even after a few days:( I am excited to see that this new labelling method from Mabel's Labels seems to be a better option. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends, if they are willing to splurge a bit. The labels are definitely pricey!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to review Mabel's Labels. I had never tried Mabel's Labels before. I was very impressed with this product. I was surprised how well they stayed in my son's clothes, shoes, lunch kit etc. They were very easy to apply and were tough and durable. My son loved the colors and the picture of the soccer ball on them. He enjoyed choosing a label to put on each of his items. I will definitely be ordering more as my second child wants some for her items too.

I loved these labels, they were easy to design and super cute, I put them on all my kids stuff and it all came back from camp! Yah! I also put one on a water bottle and and its been washed many times and it's still there and in perfect shape.

I can not say how pleased I am with the Mabel labels! Great customer service (you speak to people), fast arrival (ordered on Wednesday and in my mail box on Friday). And then there is the great product! THEY LAST EVEN AFTER THE WASH!!! Totally love.
