No matter what finish these eyeshadows are in, they are all gorgeous and have unbelievable lasting power. I have used these for a couple of years and it is definitely hard to use one all the way down to the pan because you do not need to use a lot to get the pigmentation you desire (for the most part). Of course there are hits and misses with every company and every product, but MAC has substantially fewer than most companies.

I love a company that prides themselves on the quality of their products and customer service above all else.

If I am unsatisfied with a product for ANY reason whatsoever, I have no problem taking it back to my local MAC counter for a full refund. Not a lot of companies can say that. I have had to do this to MAC because some products did not agree with my VERY sensitive skin (i.e., it was my problem, not their product).

Overall, a great product! MAC has done it again! Iconic!

I've tried so many different brands of eyeshadow I've lost count, and I always return to MAC. There are many reasons for this. First - quality! They are highly pigmented, show up true (with a primer) and will last all day long. Second, they have a great selection of colours to choose from and are always adding limited edition colours to the range so that even those of us who have been collecting for ages don't run out of new ones to try! They aren't super expensive considering the quality - particularly if you buy the refill pans and purchase the 15-pan palettes. (I de-pot most of mine anyway to make it easier to mix and match custom travelling palettes and to find the colour I'm looking for - another feature I love.) They last forever and are definitely worth the investment. They also don't irritate my sensitive eyes even if I wear them all day long.
And finally, I love that the brand is so established that many blogs and tutorials use the shades - this makes it really easy to re-create celebrity and tutorial looks with the exact same colours.
The only reason I docked a point for packaging is that if you do want to de-pot shadows it involves wire cutters, rubbing alcohol and lots of patience! I prefer the Makeup Forever packaging that allows the shadows to pop easily in and out of the individual containers and wish MAC would consider doing something similar. If you don't want to de-pot them, however, the individual containers are sturdy and look nice, they even have a window on the top so that you can easily see the colour.
Overall I highly recommend checking these out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed!

I love Mac Eyeshadow, the color ranges are fantastic to choose from, you just can't buy one! Easy to apply, the color stays all day and easy to remove! I just love the names Mac gives to all the different colors!

Mac eyeshadow solves most problem you may have with make-up. Creasing, smugging, blending issues, just don't happen with Mac. They have great colors selection, which helps create many different looks. I love this product because its easy to use and it stay all day. A must have.

MAC eyeshadows are a must for every woman & teenagers too! You cant go wrong- I apply with my finger for even, perfect color/ coverage, it lasts forever, both on your face & the little pots do last too, as you really dont need to use very much. The pigment is small, meaning you get excellent coverage using very little product, something you wont find in a drugstore brand. I also use it with the MAC eyebrow angle brush, slightly dampened brush for flawless, perfect eyeliner/ eyebrow shading. I buy MAC eyeshadow for my teenaged girls because I'd rather see them easily create the effects they are looking for without ending up with caked on eyeshadow & let them practise different looks with ease. Bonuses when you buy MAC the store will help you select & try on the shades you like, no hassle returns & back to MAC recycling program- bring in your empties for free full size lipsticks!

Absolutely love mac products- will never let you down.

MAC has some of the best eyeshadows of all time. They have every color under the sun, and worth every penny. LOVE it. Any color will be worth it, but start off with neutrals, like Ricepaper, Shroom, Satin Taupe, Wedge or Carbon.

I LOVE these high quality shadows! The color lasts all day, and is vibrant. I have about 6 of these shadows in different colors, and though the price is a bit steep I find they last a long time. The colors blend well on your eye lids and together. Works great as eyeliner too. Added bonus is you can use the empty containers towards MAC's recycling program! Hand in 6 empty containers and get an eyeshadow or lipstick free! You will not be disappointed.
