These eye shadows are amazing. I went to the MAC on Queen St W and I found the service there to be quite awesome. I was afraid that I was walking into a store with pushy sales people, but I was wrong. The MAC artist was very helpful in helping me choose colours without pressuring me to buy anything that I was unsure about.

I did not realize how intense the colours were until I tried them at home! A little really does go a long way! It lasted all day with no crease marks or smudging, something that is really annoying if your skin gets oily throughout the day.

Yes they are expensive, at $16 each! But I think I will follow misschickie's advice and buy them separately with the case. I can see how that could make it all more portable and handy too. Great advice!

I've been using MAC eyeshadow for as long as I can remember. I recently bought a few new eyeshadows and was informed that you get a better deal when you create your own quad vs. buying the eyeshadows individually. Each eyeshadow is about $16 or so, but if you buy the quad case ($4.50) and the quad inserts ($12.50 each) instead, you save money. They are magnetic and pop right in - you don't have to buy the pre made quad color combos.

I was a bit confused at first when she explained this to me but, the quad inserts are the same size as the regular eye shadows and come in all the same colors - all it is, is different packaging. The quad shell is also part of their recycling program, which, by the way, I was told, has now been extended to include eyeshadows and one of their lip gloss'.

MAC eyeshadows are fabulous to apply and blend without getting blotches of darker color here and there that you can get from cheaper eyeshadows. They also stay put and are less prone to those dreaded crease marks that appear on your eyelids halfway through the day.

MAC is one of my favorite eyeshadows ever! As my other brands run out I am now always replacing with MAC. Awesome colours, staying power and it lasts so much longer than other kinds. My only suggestion is not to buy at the Sheway location (inside the bay). They are always way to busy and non helpful. I find other counter/actual mac stores to be much more helpful with finding you the right colour!

There colors are to die for! I dont buy any other eyeshadows! These last all day and look amazing. The variety of colors could match anything.Definatly the best. The price is kinda expensive but they do last a long time and dont need replacing all the time, BEWARE if you put them in your purse for on-the-go applying, becareful they tend to break up in a powder and get everywhere!!!

Based on the reviews on ChickAdvisor, I went out and bought a Mac Eye Shadow even though I thought it was expensive. I tried it out and I was not disappointed. The girls were so wonderful and they helped me picked out the perfect shade of pink. The eye shadow lasted all day long and I love LOVE LOVE the colour!!!

It stays on all day! I really love this eye shadow but I only treat myself once in awhile because it costs too much. Rimmel makes a fairly decent product now that is more than half the cost and works about the same. But, MAC does last a long time compared to other products so I give it a thumbs up!

I am allergic to many many eye products... I have tried so many different eye shadow brands that I can't even count! In any case, MAC Eyeshadow works very well for me and there are no allergic reactions! I find that this product goes out well and stays put for a long time. I find that their colors blend well with eachother and don't ever give you a cakey effect. The eyeshadow is a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it. Try it and you'll love it!

I would like to add the MAC paints to the eyeshadow selection! These are little tubes of "paste" eyeshadow. I love these things. They are about $17.00 and are worth every penny! A little dab covers your eye with a nice, smooth layer of color.. I've never had it get gummy or crease, with an all day wearing. It blends well with anything else you want to add and wears all day. I have one that is a light metallic silver, goes with everything! I just got another one in a nice purple color( my fave color!). Most eyeshadow falls off of me, for some reason, but this product looks great all day long!

I discovered M.A.C. eyeshadow a few weeks ago, thanks to a friend of mine. Before I never understood why people would pay so much money for eyeshadow, but now I completely get it!
They have so many amazing colours, it's a feast for the eyes. The shadows go on really well, and the people working there are incredibly helpful - the girl that helped me out applied the shadow for me, showed me exactly how to do it, and then drew me a diagram so that I wouldn't forget. Right now I'm just using the neutral colours (shroom, satin taupe, and all that glitters) but I plan on going back to buy more in the near future. Their eyeshadow brushes are also great - worth every penny!
