This is BY FAR the best liner on the market. The formula is gel-based so you get the really sharp black look, without the smudging of a pencil, or wetness of a liquid. It stays put, you have the option of a really thin precise line or a thicker more dramatic shape, and it comes in dozens of beautiful shades! Love this product - especially for drawing over a false lash strip!
I received this as a gift from my son's girlfriend who sells MAC. She said I would love it and would be replacing my Revlon liquid eyeliner. She was right...this product lasts all day without any touchups! MAC products are top quality. I love the black since I have dark, dark brown eyes. I have oily skin and apply my mineral veil over the lid when I finish applying it...to make it stay without smearing ( that's why I gave only 4 stars to effectiveness). It flows on and dries matte. Easy to apply. Although you need a brush to apply, I found a small 4" angle brush to add to my makeup case for my purse. I think that the price is high, but I don't think I'll have to buy another for years...I've had this product for over a year and it hardly looks like I've used it! This product is FANTASTIC!
Claims to be... "Ultra-smooth, Fluidline’s gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish. Goes on “foolproof” with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. Long-wearing. Smudge-proof. Lines up in a rich array of colours and finishes."
Tried and true.
Tried: Blue Peep (electric blue) / Blacktrack (midnight charcoal silk)
MAC Fluidliner is a staple in my make-up collection. I have tried several gel based eye liners and I always go back to this one. It's high quality, doesn't smudge and lasts all day. The best part is you can choose how thick/thin you want to line your eyes. It's easier to use than liquid eye liner (for those of you who do not have a steady hand) and it creates the same look. I don't use this every day, but it's a must for creating a dramatic eye look for a night out.
It's very concentrated, so you don't need too much of it. It lasts a long time as well. I will definitely go back to this if I run out.
Ive always used the regular loreal liquid liners but then a friend had recommended me the MAC gel liner a couple of months back and Ive been pretty much addicted to it ever since. The only bad thing about it is that you have to purchase a brush to apply it on. Which also means spending more money but ofcrse the benefits weigh it all out! It comes on smoothly and never ever cracks or smudges (unless you purposely do so ofcrse) Anywho I would totally recommend it ladies! It never hurts to try!
This is my everyday go to eyeliner. Whether it's a natural look or dramatic, i still use this eyeliner. I either use a slanted angel brush or a the mac 209 pointed brush. I use mainly use Blacktrack but all the other colors give great pigmentation as well. With a good brush, this liner applies perfectly. I've also used this as a base for a really dark dramatic eye. Just remember to blend really well. Also, with a even finer liner brush, you can use it on your waterline. I love love love this stuff. I think i probably repurchased it 20 times.
Oh it it also doesn't budge, does run, smudge etc!!
I LOVEEEE this eye liner. It is the best I have ever used, it goes on so smooth and lasts the whole day. I would be lost without it.
Flat out:
Its a Liquis liner...Granted like ALL M.a.c products the pigments are unbeatable...But its still a just a liquid liner! and becouse you need a seperate brush, its harder to carry around and use on the go. But It is deffinatly a long lasting rich pigmented liner and using diffrent sized brushes may allow some versatility for those of us who like to switch it up...
I always will love fluidliner. The gel is better than any cream based liners. it lasts and stays put. Just don't leave the lid off
