I received this product from ChickAdvisor for review purposes. As a MAC cosmetics addict, I was really excited in trying this fluidline out once again. Using a mini pointed brush, the thick and creamy texture glides along smoothly on the eyes (with or without eyeshadow). You may need to time to get a handle of it, but its very easy to master a great eye line with the product. I have it in blacktrack which is a solid black colour that really intensifies the eyes. I sometimes have trouble with "winging" the eyes, but I think its because I need a lot more pointy brushes! Overall, a great product. Unless you're a make up artist, you'll have a tough time finishing this product in 6-10 months!

I got this from a makeup swap with a friend and i love it. it can be bold or soft depending on how you apply it you have all the control. however it does take some practice to use a brush to master the look you want. i use a flat bush for a softer look and a thin liner brush for a cleaner and defined look, and a angle brush for my inbetween everyday running late look. totally awesome and lastest a while b/c you only need a small amount!

This beats liquid liner in so many ways. It is more forgiving if you have a shaky hand, if applied using the right brush. I personally use an angled liner brush by Lise Watier and haven't looked back. You basically just walk the brush across your lash line and voila! You're done. The black colour (Blacktrack) is as intense as black liquid liner. Perfect for winging out your liner for drama, or putting on a precise fine line for a sophisticated look.

The staying power is awesome BUT only with a primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion is its best friend). My eyes turn into a hot mess without eyeshadow primer.

It is CAD $18 before taxes, but I've barely put a dent on mine. This will literally last a lifetime. I will definitely buy this again, in more colours!

I have to say that this is my very favourite eye liner. It is worth the splurge of buying both the liner and the angled MAC liner brush, as it makes for a perfect application.

I would highly, highly recommend this product to anyone...especially those who are nervous about eyeliner looking too thick or goopy. This liner goes on thin (if you like) and is very sleek and smooth. The angled brush helps it to go on perfectly, even if you don't have the steadiest hand.

Usually I'm more accustomed to using an eyeliner pencil so it took me a bit of practice to get use to the fluid liner. However the practice was well worth it. The fluid liner gives an extremely professional refined line. The sales representative at Mac gave me a good alternative tip to clean your mac brush by using shampoo and laying it flat on a tissue paper to dry.

I have "uppity" in MAC's fluidline series. It comes in a little glass pot, and is a gel, but don't think gel like hairgel, or you'll get the wrong impression. It's like a cream eyeliner, that you put on with a brush, and it's like spreading liquid gold on your eyes. It doesn't budge, and it can be used as eyeshadow as well. I was inspired to buy it from the huge ad in my local MAC store, showing a redhead with intense yellow-gold liner on her top and bottom lids. Very wintery and magical. It's about $18 I think, but I think it's worth it for quality.

I have been a die hard liquid liner fan since I was in high school. I was at the MAC makeup counter the other day and the sales guy recommended I try this gel liner instead. Well I am so happy that I took his advice. This stuff is soooo much easier to apply than liquid liner. It goes on very smooth and stays put all day. I bought it in Dipdown and love the rich creamy brown color, it really makes my blue eyes look amazing.

I was skeptical to buy this because of the price, but hubby got it for me for Christmas. Plus, the girl at the store said it would last a long time. I LOVE this liner. Because of my special contact lens, I couldn't wear the hard liners 'cause they would push on my eye too much. This stuff is soft and I use a nice soft "angle brush" to apply it. I'm very pleased with the purchase and will for sure buy some more when I run out (which seems like it will be in a long time)!!

After trying Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner (long thought to be the holy grail of long-lasting eyeliners), and Stila Smudgepots, I tried MAC fluidline in Sweet Sage and Ground Coffee. Both shades are gorgeous, and retain their shimmer upon application (something the bobbi brown shimmer liners do not).

They last all day, are reasonably price, readily available, and come in a wide range of colours. They can also be used as a long-lasting cream eyeshadow.

Other pot eyeliners tend to dry out quickly (again, referring to the Bobbi Brown, and also the Syila Smudgepots) but I've had one of my fluidlines for over a year and the consistency is the same as when I first purchased it, after being opened and used on a very regular basis.

Overall, this is the best gel eyeliner on the market.

This stuff is fool proof! Goes on really well and has a nice soft finish. I love the colors and the gel formula.
