very easy to apply and it seems pricey at first but it lasts so long that it's worth it. but sometimes it dries out before im done so it's wasted. love the color choices!
I love everything MAC. But I agree, you cannot use the whole pot before it dries up. Wish they would halve the pot and the price, then it would be both effective and practical, especially for those of us with limited funds.
This is my go to eyeliner when I'm going out as it has great staying power. With a little bit of UDPP underneath and light powder to set it on top it works great for the cat-eye look. I have this in blitz & glitz which is a soft black with little gold flecks. Really want to try some of the coloured ones like teal!
If you are looking for a good dupe, Maybelline Eye Studio Gel liner is also great at the fraction of the price (I've tried this also and like it as well).
At first, this was a great, even amazing, product. It was very creamy and was very easy to apply. I used this before I mastered using liquid eyeliner. The trouble came after a few months... it cracked and then it totally dried up. Maybe I didn't screw the lid on tight enough, but I am very disappointed in what happened. I haven't even used up half of the contents, yet. I love MAC thought and will still use their products- this one was just not for me.
This is an awesome eyeliner (in blacktrack) - definitely a MAC staple! This was my first gel eyeliner and I have been using this continuously for the past year and there are still half left in the pot. On this note, LOVE this cute little glass pot that this comes in ;) There were many great reviews on this, and probably a third cheaper than the Bobbi Brown version - and it works like a charm. Apply with a angled eyeliner brush for great precision :). It goes on super smooth and creamy, adding great definition/color to your eye. It lasts all day and is very much smudge proof - a big plus for me! A great investment in terms of size and functionality - highly recommended! :)
I've been using blacktrack fluideline for years and I really like it. It's very creamy, easy to blend and last all day, but you can still use water or eye makeup remover to remove the product. The small pot last me for 8 months and I wear it every single day. I even wear it when i go to the gym and it stays on. It doesn't smudge under my eye or crease on top of my oily lid (always use a primer before though). The color is very pigmented and dries fast, but still gives you enough time to play with it until your satisfy with you line.
If you're looking for a liquid eyeliner, have shaky hands or afraid to poke ur eyes with a liquid liner, the fluidline is an alternative to the liquid liner.
Overall, it's a great product to buy and it will last you a long time, and very easy to use.
I have purchased many MAC make-up products, but had never tried their eyeliner. The eyeliner the girl was wearing looked flawless, and already a MAC make-up fan, I decided to go buy some of my own. Not only can someone use Fluidline for its main purpose as eyeliner, but it can also be used as a creamy, nice looking eyeshadow. It is great to use as eyeshadow because it comes in colors that eyeshadows can’t be found in. When I get up in the morning I apply Fluidline, and it is still perfectly in place when I get home late at night. Fluidline has the sleek look of liquid eyeliner, but is much easier to apply. It is cream based, so it doesn’t run all over the place and make a mess. Simply take a brush, dip it in the Fluidline jar, and apply. The brush can make a thick line, or a very thin line depending on preference.
Flat out:
Its a Liquis liner...Granted like ALL M.a.c products the pigments are unbeatable...But its still a just a liquid liner! and becouse you need a seperate brush, its harder to carry around and use on the go. But It is deffinatly a long lasting rich pigmented liner and using diffrent sized brushes may allow some versatility for those of us who like to switch it up...
I always will love fluidliner. The gel is better than any cream based liners. it lasts and stays put. Just don't leave the lid off
I received this product from ChickAdvisor for review purposes. As a MAC cosmetics addict, I was really excited in trying this fluidline out once again. Using a mini pointed brush, the thick and creamy texture glides along smoothly on the eyes (with or without eyeshadow). You may need to time to get a handle of it, but its very easy to master a great eye line with the product. I have it in blacktrack which is a solid black colour that really intensifies the eyes. I sometimes have trouble with "winging" the eyes, but I think its because I need a lot more pointy brushes! Overall, a great product. Unless you're a make up artist, you'll have a tough time finishing this product in 6-10 months!
