I have a very pale complexion, so when a friend got me to try Mac Cosmetics Lipstick in a nude shade, I was a little hesitant. I loved it! It's really smooth and plumped my lips. It matched my complexion perfectly! Totally reccommend for anyone who wears nude shades! You will not find a better one - at least I haven't yet!

Ok so this is a MAC Best seller but it sadly does not work on my light/medium olive skin tone. It makes me look corpse-esque! Yes, that's not a word you want to hashtag when you describe your makeup of the day look on Instagram. That being said, I do love this shade on others with a more pale skin tone. I use it on several clients so it's still a great lipstick, just not for this chick!!!

This comes in Satin finish. It is kind of pale to be worn on its own, so I would suggest using with a little darker lip liner.

A true nude. Inadvisable for those with darker skin tones. Cancels out warmth and creates a bleak, washed-out look - almost to the point of seeming diseased or ill. Kind of a spooky effect.
