The quintessential red. My absolute favorite! Creamy, perfect, long-wearing. My only complaint is that it's matte and it can be a bit drying... but it's worth it :)
I love the way a bold red lip looks with my fair skin and dark brown hair. This is probably my all time Favorited lip stick. The color is beautiful, it goes on smoothly, and last all day! What more could you ask for?
This colour is so vibrant and beautiful it really makes your lips pop! Make sure to apply and reapply lip balm every so often because it dries up your lips really really fast!
Tis the season for layering and bold lips! Russian Red by MAC is an amazing color! I love how perfect it goes on, most of the time I even skip on lip liner ;)
This color goes very well with all skin tones especially olive skin and makes THAT statement.
Would i recommend it to all my luvers?! OF COURSE I WOULD!!!! I own 2 just in case I can't find one.
I've used MAC products forever - although they ARE pricey, they are worth every penny - I've fallen in love with Prolongwear lipcolour and now it comes in a one step lipstick which I just ordered........I have no doubt it will be just as fabulous.
I had moral qualms about buying $15 lipstick, but this is one of the best that I've ever bought. It has a classic hollywood look about it, it rarely bleeds, and doesn't smear while eating. Well worth it's money.
This is truly a gorgeous old hollywood red. The color payoff is really intense and although the formula is matte, it goes on smoothly. Like misschickie said, you really need a lipliner to start with or else it can look sloppy. You also should make sure that your lips are moisturized so that the matte formula doesn't dry you out. I don't use this often, but i do like it when i go for bold red lip...If you're looking for a classic red, try this one!
If you want an amazing colour that really makes your pout pop, you won't be disappointed with Russian Red. I have pale skin with pinky/blue undertones and blue eyes. This colour goes very nicely with my skin and eyes and makes my lips look glamorous like old Hollywood style. The colour is matte so it goes on thick but it is also moisturizing. When paired with the lipliner in Brick, it is a show stopper. I definitely recommend you always pair a lipstick like this with a liner. The colour is so bold it will look unfinished if you don't, and it does tend to bleed a little. I recommend using a bit of base on your lips first. If you don't have a base, a little foundation will help to hold it in place.
This is a gorgeous shade that I plan to keep in my makeup bag for years to come.
