Liquid liner! Would buy again
I love how dark the liner was and how the thin brush / applicator helped me make my wings evenly. Usually if the applicator has a thick end it is difficult for me to make a clean wing line and it gets quite messy when I have to clean each side up.
Good eyeliner
I have tried many liquid eyeliners and I find this one lasts the longest without smudging or coming off completely.
It is quite expensive, especially for the small bottle it comes in.
MAC still uses animal cosmetic testing which NEEDS to stop.
For cateyed look
Mac being one of my favourite makeup stores always carries good quality makeup i was looking for some liquid liner that was Very easy to use doesn't dry out no smudging and stays on gives the perfect winged look a bit pricey but worth every penny
With a price point of $24 at MAC It's not terrible! I found that application is a bit tricky with this one because when you first apply it, it's not applying too easily and you have to go over it twice to achieve the right darkness of the line. Otherwise it stays on ALL day and looks great.
Its a bit pricey but its worth it, the application is a bit difficult and you have to get used to it and learn how to use it but its a good overall product.
MAC Liquidlast Eyeliner is probably one of the best waterproof eyeliners on the market. Once it sets, it doesn't budge and is very difficult to remove after. The weakness though is in the application brush. Very flimsy and not much control. The product also comes out very goopy. But if you use a fine eyeliner brush for application, you can get a nice smooth line.
This eyeliner is great for those who prefer liquids over solids(with eyeliner, anyways)
It comes in an array of colors ranging from black to lime green, and the combinations are endless!
I adore aqualine layered over their stars n rockets eyeshadow, its such a fun look that always earns you compliments! if you love eye catching makeup, or makeup that absolutely will NOT budge this is definately for you.
it can be a little tricky to apply. its best to blot the brush so you dont get too much on, otherwise it will smudge, and this product CANNOT be removed unless you use a cleanser with oil in it, or an oil based eye makeup remover. O.o
this never leaves my makeup bag, i especially reccomend it to those who have especially long days/nights and or love to party while looking good.
I bought it in Inky and I love how the blue makes my eyes pop. Wears throughout the day without touch-ups. The wand it comes with takes a bit of getting used to or you can choose to use you own liner brush. Comes off easy with an oil-based eye makeup remover.
I tried this when it first came out, before liquid last, i was using MAC's fluid line, which didnt stay for very long on me. when i bought my first bottle, of liquid last, it came in a slim tube, with its own hair applicator.
Application:
the first time using it wasnt a very good one, if you make any mistakes and dont wipe away right when it happens, your either stuck with it, or your have to remove with an oil make up remover.
After a couple of uses however, i found it got gunky and gooey, which made it even harder to make that perfect, thin, smooth line. so i pulled out my old fluid line, and traced a thin line with that, and used the liquid last to go over it. (oh geez, i shoulda figured this out sooner)
I have also found that this will last longer if you apply the product smooth, so no clumps in some spots or watever. I find those clumpy areas will flake.
Wear:
This stuff doesnt budge! i can spend 8h + in this eyeliner, which is great for my oily lids. i've also worked out in it, and it stays, i do the crazy cardio class workouts and it doesnt even budge.
Removing:
I know some people who have a hard time to remove this stuff, bu personally, i've never had an issue with this. it might have something to do with the oils on my face breaking it down before hand? anyway, i've also removed this stuff when i've just worn it for a couple hours, and yea, it WILL be hard to remove if you don't use something oil based.
Conclusion
Although this product does have its advantages, it also has its share of disadvantages, i'll keep using this product until i find another product that has the same staying power, but a more user friendly application.
