I have a couple of these.. among them Chic Couple, Northern Lights,Smooth merge...
These are great blushes, wonderful color payoff....blendable, builadble, natural finish...
the illuminating ones are very dewy, light and look wonderful on me during winter months, adding a nice glow, natural flush without looking clowny on my pale winter skin...
chic couple on the other hand, looks great on tanned skin, compliments the golden tone with a subtle shimmer.
Overall, great great great blushes. Lovely!
I lost my self control one day with the "In the Groove" Collection - and part of my haul was the Stereo Rose and Comfort Mineralized Skin Finish - and it was awesome. I only have 1 regret but it has nothing to do with these bad boys!
Stereo Rose has a wonderful finish, a rosy pink shimmer that can be built up into a stronger, more defined cheek or a light sweep for an sweep of light color.
Comfort took me a bit to figure out since it tends towards a sort of muddy orange color on me if not applied with a light, sweeping hand. However, since I have learned how to apply it for my face/coloring I have fallen in love with it's subtle, warming kiss.
I can definitely say these may have been my first MSF's but they won't be my last! Sorry they are limited editions so a lot of folks will have a hard time finding these particular shades, however the actual range of MSF's are awesome - soft, silky finish and a large range of colors for any coloring.
Thumbs up!
LOVE this product!! It's pretty expensive but SO worth it. It's a great blush/bronzer. Its so easy to apply and so easy to control the darkness of the colour. It's a great bronzed looks with a little bit of shimmer, which gives that great "dewy" look. I wear it everyday and is a must!
This blush is great if you are looking for something sheer and natural. The colour is not very strong after the first coat, so you then have the option to build colour or keep it sheer. I think it works well for my light skin tone because not only does it add colour, but it also adds a touch of bronze to warm up my complexion without being too harsh (as can happen with some bronzers on me).
I have been using this basically in place of a bronzer, and then I add some colour to the apples of my cheeks and I definitely like it best for that purpose.
Words can almost not describe how much I love this product. It is a mineral shimmer powder that you dust on your face for that flawless celebrity-like glow (and not the faux-tan kind of glow, the luminous, healthy, too-good-to-be-true kind of glow!)
I have it in Feisty Redhead which is golden shimmer on the left, pink shimmer on the right, and two middle of the road shades in between. This makes this compact perfect for highlighting, cheeks, and even for all over your face.
I have been on what feels like an eternal search for a product that gives me this kind of luminous glow without looking fake and I can safely and emphatically say that my search is now over. I am in complete and utter L-O-V-E!
I have gotten endless compliments on my complexion since I have been using this product. I dust it lightly over my entire face after foundation, and apply a little of the pink shimmer on the apples of my cheeks for good measure. Without being too self-deprecating, my skin looks completely flawless without looking fake (Be sure not to apply too much though because there is a fine line between just enough and too much).
Highly highly recommend. (Did I mention that I love it?)
This was recommended to me by a MAC consultant. It looked a bit 'off' for my skin tone, but I decided to give it a chance. Just so you know ladies, if you're not satisfied with any MAC product, they do allow you to return or exchange them, even without a receipt and even a very long time after buying them. I even bought MAC products overseas and returned them in Canada 2 years later. However, if you happen to get a snippy consultant, just go to another MAC location. I had that problem once, the guy was a complete shit and acted like he was doing me a MASSIVE personal favor. So I walked down the street and a very nice consultant in THAT store allowed me to exchange my product.
Anyways, back to the blush. It is quite sheer and buildable, a tad sparkly, but not overly so. I wear it over my NYC cream blush stick. I find using them both together gives a great tone. It also works well with my MAC bronzer, which I find to be FAR too sparkly.
Yes, their products are NOT cheap. BUT this blush will last me a very very long time. It's a generous size. So in that way, it's worth it. You don't need to use very much of the product either.
I bought this thinking I can use this as a bronzer, but there is barely any colour when I put it on. However, it has a great shimmer, and I use it almost everyday along my T-zone (upper eyebrow area down to the tip of my nose, making a T on my face). I'm Asian, and for people out there who want to add some contour to your face, this is it! You can also use this to highlight your cheeks with a contour brush. It looks great especially when it catches the light. It has a very natural shimmer, which I love.
This is my favourite blush EVER! It goes on beautifully with no effort i dont even use a mirror some times and it alsways looks perfect! It leaves a beautiful matte porcelane finish and the colour is so prettty. I always wear it. I will never use another blush again! You need to buy this!
I have a bunch of Mineralize Skinfinish from Mac...think 20 something. I am so in love with these things. They all have a pretty smooth and silky finish, highlights your face, works great with all skin tones. Some can be used as blush, some as bronzer and some as highlighters. They are made from minerals and are baked. Extremely easy to use and i've never run out.... i think very few people hit the pan on these babies. If you want a convenient and pretty highlighter, this won't disappoint. The price is decent but you get a lot of use from it. These are really delicate, so be careful not to drop it and handle it with care, the shatter easily. Overall, it's a great investment. Test around different ones Mac's offering (There are some permanent and some LEs) and find one that suits your skintone!
I had very high hopes when purchasing MAC's Mineralize Blush in Dainty, since it is a beautiful peachy/pink color with a hint of shimmer. I thought this would look good on my fair skin, since I tend to navigate towards these shades and I really wanted this to be my super-can't-live-without-it blush, simply because I did pay a considerable price for it and it is a product of MAC''s which is known for their good quality. However, when I applied it I noticed that the color hardly showed up on my skin. I have fair/porcelain skin and any touch of color will show up instantly, but I found myself really having to layer this product on for it to have any sort of impact. Although, I should have known better, since mineral makeup is usually less pigmented than regular makeup. I did appreciate that the shimmer effect was not too overpowering, but rather subtle which is nice. Therefore, I have found an alternative use for this blush. I will use this over another more pigmented peachy blush, such as NYX's Peachy and layer the MAC's Dainty over it to give it a polished finish with a light shimmer, since the other blush is matte. I don't think I will be purchasing this product again though. I can find a more pigmented blush with subtle shimmer at a cheaper price. If I do purchase another blush from MAC, it will be from their regular line and not the mineralized finish.
