I like this product, but not love...only because i think im not talented enough make up wise to know what to do with this! I know how to put on eyeshadow in different ways for my eyes, but this stuff I just kinda put on my finger and rub around lol...But it is an amazing quality and lasts forever, bought my first one in grade 9 (2003) and I still have it!
nuff said.
I am in loooove with pigments! You can get so much product for what you are paying and the results are truly spectacular. Again, as with the eyeshadows its hard for me to review al the pigments at once. They all unique and so are the results you can get with them. But so far, I love every single member of my growing MAC Pigment collection.
It is amazing what you can achieve with them.
Ughhhmazing! The coolest thing about the pigment is it's versatile nature. You can use it as a shadow on your lids, a blush, a bronzer, a highlighter. You can mix it in with your lipstick to make a custom color, or mix in the light shimmers with your foundation to give your face that dewy look. You can even mix it into nail polish! I love to use the paint pots on my eyes and then one of the pigments over it. The paint pot really gives the pigment that 'pop' your eyes sometimes needs! Great GREAT product.
I actually only have one of these pigments, but totally intend to buy more when I get the chance! I bought mine about a year ago, just days before they downsized the product, but kept the price the same (strange move if you ask me!). My product is 7.5 g, or .26 oz.
I love how versatile this product is! It can be applied pretty heavily for a shiny, futuristic look, or more subtle for an everyday look that is still glamorous. You only need a little bit of the product, so this should definitely last you a long time!
Application wise, you definitely need to apply this product with a "patting" motion rather than a sweeping one. This will allow it to go on more evenly!
One problem I have with this is how easy it would be to drop it and lose everything in the pot! I have done this before but was able to get most of it back in, and I've been very paranoid ever since about dropping it.
My makeup bag is filled with all different colors of MAC pigment eyeshadow. I love how you can glitz up your eyes without looking overly done up. It is so much fun for nights out or during the day to add a little sparkle to your eyelids.
MAC pigments are great! They are extremely versatile and can be used all over the body, not just on the eyes! I have several and have pressed some into eyeshadows which is easy to do & gives the pigments even more versatility.
My favorites! Love these, the colors go on amazingly! I personally prefer loose shadows so this is definitely my first choice and they have a wide variety of colors. The pots last forever too.
I cannot live without this product either!!! The texture, the pigmentation... everything! It's even best when you mix it with a bit of liquid (a proper pigment mix is best, but water works to) and you create a paste. That will stay all day and well into the night!!
Mac Pigments are really good unless you dona't like the whole loose powder thing. I bought two of these in rose gold and an orange color. I use them over a wet or damp primer or eyeshadow. These Pigment are great to do different stuff wit them you can also use them on your face as they are natural. I reccomend foiling, which you take your shadow brush and wet it a bit then pat it in the pigment and put it on your eye just like a regular shadow. These come in many different colors if you want to go to Maccosmetics.com they have a large asortment of all kinds or Mac Makeup and other products.
