After trying several glosses and eyeshadows from MAC, I decided to try studio fix on my misbehaving skin and was not disappointed! This powder gives you absolutely FLAWLESS coverage without looking cakey or fake, no matter how tore up your skin may look. I paid 25.00 for one compact, which lasts anywhere from three to four months if you wear your makeup daily AND touch it up regularly, which is magnificent! :)

its also clean, easy to apply, extremely portable, and great if youre on the go. However, if you apply it with a sponge you need to change it extremely often to prolong the life of the powder. Use a foundation brush for lighter coverage.

This is one of my two absolute favorite foundations. I alternate inbetween this and Revlon Colorstay depending on the mood of my skin. Couldnt live without it!

I was introduced to Mac 8 years ago and I've been hooked ever since.I've tried quite a few of their foundations and found that this one works best for me. I have combination skin and I tend to get oily in the T- Zone. I use to use this with the sponge applicator it came with but noticed that it made me break out because there was too much coverage. I then started to apply it with a power bush. This works great for me. It gives me a very light coverage, just enough to even out my skin tone and I find that it lasts allot longer because I don't use as much.

Dont leave home without it!! Not only does it cover every blemish, dark circle or scar....but it makes your face look fresh and gives an overall smooth complexion.

My tip though is to use the sponge applicator only on more noticeable marks and pores but than use a powder brush for an overall finish, otherwise the application might look to heavy on the skin.

I use this every day and have been doing so for years. Of all of the foundations I've tried, this is the one I keep coming back to. It is the only powder I can wear on my face that doesn't bother me or make my skin oily and the result is natural clean looking skin.

I use a large foundation brush instead of the sponge applicator that comes with it unless I'm away from home and need a quick touch up.

This product is a must have.

Love the way i can make this foundation look natural in the day, and a lot heavier at night without looking like im wearing too much make up. It is not as expensive as other foundations and is pretty good quality.

I've used this product for years and wouldn't change anything about it. It provides the best coverage. It allows me to not need to use foundation and still leaves the perfect finish. I use a brush rather then the sponge that is provided in the case unless I want a thicker finish.

Love it! It honesty gives you the perfect coverage and looks like a photo finish! Totally worth the price!

-Extra notes: They have just about every skintone covered. The only thing is the color coding that MAC uses can be quite confusing. If it's your first time buying foundation from MAC, make sure you get a makeup artist to come and match your skintone.

This make-up has great coverage. I have hyper pigmentation from my first pregnancy and this foundation covers it up very well. I also have no problem getting this foundation to match my skin color. I have had a problem in the past finding make-up that actually matches my skin. I always seemed to have a line that was very visible at my chin and jawline but with Mac Studio fix I have no line AT ALL. I also have no problem with skin break outs which I thought might be a problem. My skin is incredibly clear and it almost looks flawless when I use this foundation. I would recommend this product to anyone in search of a high coverage make-up for a reasonable price..

It's really good for coverage but it always made me look like I was wearing 10lbs of makeup (and felt like it too). It's really thick and rubbed off on anything my face touched. I used fix+ with it to make it look less cakey (and made it look/feel much better), but that's another 20$ on top of the 30$ I already spent on this product. I finally dropped it one day and it exploded everywhere. That's when I finally stopped using it and have never been inclined to buy it again. However, the case is awesome and like I said the coverage was very good.
