I have been using this product from MAC for years now, and I love it. It can be a little pricey (most MAC stuff can be) but you don't mind paying a little extra for products that work. Its fast and easy if you are rushing out the door and it keeps my shiny face at bay. I just wish there was more than 1 store around here to purchase it at.

very very nice powder!! it gives a mat finish to my skin! i wear it on top of my liquid foundation or by itself to absorb the oiliness in my face!

This powder is the best I've used in terms of coverage and how long it lasts. However, I heard it's not oil free and apparently this clogs porse and causes acne. I switched to a couple of other powders and they don't provide nearly the same amount of coverage. I'm considering going back just for its effectiveness though so it depends on what your priorities are!

I've been using this powder for years and the finish is flawless. Switched to Clinique powder for a while (my skin is acne prone and Clinique claims not to cause acne), but quickly went back to MAC studio fix when I wasn't getting the coverage I needed from Clinique. It's an awesome powder and I love it! Have been using it forever!

This stuff is fantastic. I wanted to treat myself to a good compact and the staff at MAC were very helpful. The compact is very versatile. If I have a day where I just need a little something on my face, I brush this stuff on with a big fluffy brush. If I feel like I need a little more coverage, I apply it with the sponge and a little concealer underneath.
And its portable! Perfect for touch ups on the go.

This was one of the first foundations that I purchased for my beyond oily skin and I've stuck with it for years! It covers really well while feeling like you've got nothing on (lol cakeface less). I've found that with oily skin, as the day progresses the foundation gets darker so I get a shade lighter than I really am to accommodate for that, it only takes a 5-10 minutes for it to turn to my colour oddly. Eg. my colour is originally C6, but i get C4, and it does the same job if not better!

I really like this foundation! It gives off a nice matte look and it doesn't make my skin break out (I have really sensitive skin). The price is not too bad either so I would definitely recommend this.

I hate liquids and powder doesn't cover my redness, freckles or blemishes usually- studio fix is FABULOUS! I love the coverage and natural, light feeling and it is great on my sensitive skin also- never had an irritation. The prices for MAC are always a bit higher than drugstore brands but when you purchase it- you get your $$$ worth- it lasts for awhile and works better than any liquid foundation/cover up out there! Also fast and easy and no smudging!

I first discovered this product a few years ago when an amazing woman at The Bay introduced me to it. I was impressed right away with the variety of shades as I am very, very pale and a lot of powders and cover-ups on my end of the spectrum tend to give me a yellowish hue. She knew right away which one matched me and I was hooked. The price is a bit more expensive than your usual drugstore brands but I find the difference is worth it. Besides - I'm not sure how long you are supposed to keep it for - but with how often I use it, it seems to last forever. I usually replace it long before it's done. I find that the brush is great for getting control of that shine and a little bit evening out skin tone. But if you have something you want to hide, it works great when you use a sponge. It doesn't clump by the end of the day, and doesn't clump up in your pores (ew). The container even has a little mirror and the bottom part has air vents so the sponge doesn't get all icky after a few hot summer days. I would definitely recommend giving this a try - I guarantee you will be more interested in the other things Mac can do once you see the miracles this can perform.

Great coverage. I apply it with either a sponge or a brush. Either way, I find it lasts all day.
