I was excited to try this but from the beginning to the end it was horrible. It didn't go on smoothly, it's a bit too watery, the brush gives it an uneven line and after an hour or two it started drying up and coming off. This was a big no no for me!

I bought the eyeliner from the Star Trek collection. Since it was my first MAC eyeliner, I had high expectations about it. The formula is really liquidy. It is a pain to take it off because it becomes chunky and goes everywhere on the eye and on the face. I don't recommend this product.

I had really high hopes for this eyeliner, seeing as I paid about $25 for it. I really want to love it, but there are a few major factors in why I don't.
First, I will say that the application is very easy. The pen tip took very little practice for me to be able to use it well. That said, I have been doing cat eyes for about 5 years now. The first week or so of using this product was great, but after that the colour became almost watery. Now it takes several coats to achieve the correct shade of black. I've noticed a little bit of fading after wearing it through an intense shipment shift at work, but that could have been my 5 AM application! Other than that, this stuff does not budge. You can try smudging it, but good luck! I did a couple strokes of this eyeliner on my hand the other day and it's STILL THERE!

My biggest issue with this eyeliner is the removal. The salesgirl actually demonstrated it to me in the store before I bought it and it sort of came off like a peel, which is neat...until you get it on your eyes. The eyeliner peels off into my eyelashes, making mascara removal very difficult. It just globs onto my eyelashes and won't move. I end up trying to peel it off my lashes with my nails but mostly just lose eyelashes!

I won't be being this liner again, though I may try another by MAC. The application is great, but the removal makes this product a flop for me.

This is one product that I don't care how much it is... I am going to buy it! It's worth every penny! It doesn't smudge on you and goes on super easy unlike other I've tried where it either gives a faint line or rubs off easy. Mac eyeliner gives you bold color that lasts! No doubt about it, I love this product!

I have several friends who are addicted to M.A.C. and swear by this liquid eyeliner. I recently just started using liquid eyeliner and have tried several drugstore brands (L'Oreal Carbon Black, Maybelline Stiletto and Covergirl Line Exact) and was increasingly becoming annoyed that each of these liners would flake in giant pieces throughout the day, leaving gaps in my lines!

I decided to try M.A.C. after a co-worker showed up one day raving about it. I paid the $21.00 CAD and thought to myself, this better be worth every penny for the price! Well, the formula is amazing. The salesgirl was right when she told me this stuff is waterproof. It even lasted through a crying spell while cutting onions!!! Not a single flake or smear or smudge. Removal was easy, a qtip dipped in warm water and pressed against my eyelid and this stuff peeled right off in almost one piece!

I'm not giving this product a full five stars because I hate the design. I prefer my liquid liners in a brush form, not a pen. However, this liner does fall on the fence between being a brush liner and a pen/pot liner and is kind of somewhere right in between. I suppose more practice will make the application easier, however it's not for someone like me who just started on liquid liner OR for someone who wants an easy, fuss-free liner in one swipe.

I love this eyeliner, I've had it for over 3 years and just NOW it's starting to wear out, and I usually wear it 3-4 days out of the week. Definitely buy this if you are deciding what liquid liner to go with!
