this is by far the best foundation I have ever tried and will continue using. I have tried many others and I was very disappointed but MAC is for my skin type and my skin tone, I have combination skin and sometimes is very oily or both. This stuff works wonders and coverage is amazing, layering is also incredible as well! I cannot do without this foundation EVER!

I cannot live without my MAC foundation! I use it daily, it doesn't go on cakey looking or feeling. The bottle generally lasts me up to 3 or 4 months as oppose to something you would buy from a frug store... so for the price it's totally worth it!

glides on perfect and doesnt give breakouts!!!! a little product goes a long way so it will last you a long time :) i recommend it!

in my search for the perfect foundation, i came across this one at the MAC counter, and i'm not going to lie, i was very doubtful. But gave it a try none the less, and i'm glad i did because this is not perfect but VERY close to perfect! VERY VERY close. It's a buildable foundation, and even a light layer provides a reasonable amount of coverage without being too cakey. I like to use my fingers to apply this foundation for a more natural look, but if i was going for the flawless look and more coverage, i'd use a brush and a sponge to blend/erase any lines and buildups. What i also love about this foundation is the spf 15, although quite low, it's better than none. But not only that, it does NOT give you a white mask like most products with SPF! LOVE! Now why do i say all this great stuff and only to call it very close to perfect? it's because i HATE this packaging! i'm horrible at gauging how much to pour out. also, at some point you'll end up shaking it out to make it pour faster like a ketchup bottle, but if you shake too hard it pours like crazy! @_@ i can't win with this packaging

I got a sample of this at my local MAC counter about a year ago and I was in the process of searching for the perfect foundation for the summer months.

This foundation does have a "satin finish" meaning that it is not entirely matte, but more of a dewy finish.

The formula is amazing and can be thinned out using a wet Beauty Blender or a stippling brush (I personally use the stippling brush to get an even, medium coverage).

The one thing that I LOVE about this foundation is it's versatility. As I have recently stated, it can be thinned out or built up to get the coverage that you most desire (Face it, sometimes us gals need a little more coverage every now and then. Naughty, naughty skin!)

Also, it is very moisturizing which can be beneficial to those experiencing dryer skin, but it STILL can be used for those of us like me who have combination skin.

I would not advise this foundation for those who have oily skin. It might exacerbate this.


This is a keeper, for sure. Just make sure you use a primer underneath so that it stays on all day (especially in the summer)

Use this foundation every day! Absolutely love it. Gives a flawless finish but doesn't look cakey. Also easy to find a match to my skin tone whether it is summer or winter.

This has always been my favorite foundation. It is a full coverage foundation and will last all day when set with a MAC powder. It goes on very easily (I use a large foundation brush for application) and is not sticky or slimy. I also find it blends into the skin quite well, so there are no noticeable lines or spots due to dry skin or skin creases. My only issue with this product is the smell, which can easily be overlooked. This product works so well for me that I don't even want to try any other foundations.

Foundation... I spend too much buying new ones to try, and its like I'm a junkie. It really is my quest to find ones that work for me. I want coverage (medium), natural looking, comfort of wear, oil-resistance (does it change colours or show shine easily), and it must have a good sunblock, non-comedeogenic and oil-free. Well this purchase was very unlike me... a flash purchase due to an over-charming make-up artist. However, it was serendipity: I love it. A little goes a long way, it blends beautifully, its SPF 15, has a colour that is great with my skin tone (NW25), oil-free, minimizes the look of imperfections with a medium coverage. with long wear. Its easy to apply but a bit thicker than I am used to. the only think I'd change is if if came in a pump. I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and this helps to minimize the darker areas and I don't feel overly made up. So far it does not make me break out. Loves it.
