Slightly disappointed

This product wasn’t for me. I like using silicone sponges to blend and this foundation didn’t blend well with it so had to use a beauty blender. When I add powder it tends to build up in certain areas and turns to little blobs (this didn’t happen with other foundation I used). The final product does look good but I won’t be using it again.

Who doesnt love mac? I mean this is one of my go to's. A little goes along way. Makes my skin have that full coverage look. I cant get enough of mac products!

This stuff = magic in a bottle! If you want to look like you are a beautiful model this is the stuff for you it transforms my face on even my worst day. Covers dark spots and imperfections with ease. 100000 perfect recommend!

Great coverage

I really like the results I got from this foundation, it gave me excellent coverage and the chosen shade was perfect, it goes on evenly and smoothly and contains SPF to, it's excellent.

This is beautiful foundation ,its medium/full coverage and is very buildable , its very smooth and creamy and applies great with a sponge or brush , it covers any breakouts and looks flawless

First time trying a mac foundation as I've been having trouble with getting a foundation to stay on my skin ,this made me look flawless didnt move around on my skin blended effortlessly and was a perfect match

Mac studio fix foundation NC27

Never tried Mac foundation before but heard good things, so matched with NC27, firstly it smells gorgeous for a foundation and it’s a liquid foundation, I applied with a foundation brush a little goes a long way, it’s buildable so for day you might like a light coverage and night a full coverage so it’s entirely up to you, claims to last 24hrs I’ve not tried it for that amount of time but I have for well over 13hrs and it doesn’t need any touch ups and stays Matte, I love it.

Good overall coverage

I was colour matched from the Mac department in John Lewis. The lady was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. She tested at least four different foundations on my face and jaw line. N6 was the best shade for my skin tone as i have very fair porcelain skin and any foundations with too much warmth in their colour makes me either look a shade of yellow or orange.

The foundation looks good, smells great and comes in a nice bottle. (Mac also do a good incentive to bring back 5 empty mac containers and they will gift you with a lipstick thus saving waste and helping the planet).
The foundation is best applied with a brush in my opinion and then rubbing slightly with your finger tips to blend any makeup build up that can happen. The price isn't too bad at less than £30 a bottle. The coverage is good and you can apply as much or as little as you want and still look good. I use this foundation as more of an every day wear rather than a going out at night foundation.

Overall a great product and spending a little more on foundation always pays off as i definitely believe you get what you pay for.
