not amazed by this product

I have to be honest i was really looking forward to trying this as MAC have always had good products. But i was really disappointed with this. The price rage is not on the low ending at around £28, it stated it was a builderable foundation so would give a good coverage. I found it went on really thin and became blotchy and patchy. After an hour it was cakey and left the skin really dry. I would stick to a lower end foundation which gives much better coverage and you can build on without problems. I would say i love the smell of the foundation and packaging is very nice.

Far to thick

After treating myself to a more expensive foundation to what i usually buy I was disappointed ! The consistency is to thick and also has a unpleasant scent . I won't be purchasing again and wouldn't recommend !

Not for me.

I'm a fanatic when it comes to MAC and i've tried every product t least once.
I bought this liquid a few months ago (still have it sitting in my room untouched after the first attempt) and didn't like it at all. it didn't have as much coverage power as the powders do, made my face look/feel greasy and gave me a weird reaction on one side of my face. I did enjoy how this product had SPF but unfortunately cannot use it.

This was my first Mac product and I had high expectations, unfortunately I was let down. First, the bottle; after shaking the bottle (as it says to do) it was almost impossible to get any product out. I would have liked this better if it was a pump. Second, the product. I always moisturize and prime before applying foundation, however I still had a few slightly dry spots. This foundation emphasized every dry spot on my face, and settled into the fine lines under my eyes, making me look much older than my 25 years. Overall, I was not impressed. My drugstore foundation does a much better job.

I love most MAC products but I'm disappointed in MAC for this. First off, it has a strong chemically smell that isn't pleasant. Secondly, it dries to a chalky matte finish that has no staying power; I find it's blotchy or gone after an hour or so of wear and I don't even have oily skin. And to top it off, I get breakouts any time I've used it. Definitely not the product I expected for this premium price.

This product must rely on first time buyers chosing by brand name. It was way beyond matte - looked chalky and dry. Didn't blend well and even after returning to the store with the aid of the cosmetician a proper shade could not be found that didn't look like stage makeup. Starts off liquid but dries to a fake pancake. Never again!

Nothing great about this product. When I first bought it, the color (NC35) matched my skin, then it oxidized and turned orange. It also gave me breakouts around my lip area. I think it's a poor formulation b/c my friend had a breakout when trying a sample of this from the counter. The Revlon Colorstay is very similar to this product, so why would I pay $20 more? I ended up cleaning out the bottle, getting pump and putting my Revlon Colorstay inside of the MAC Studio Fix bottle. So I guess the packaging is the only good thing about this product. MAC needs to stop relying on it's brand image to carry such poor products such as this one.

i have oily skin it didnt go well with my skin. broke me out. never again.
