Best coverage foundation

This foundation is really great if you need really high coverage. Perfect for festivals or a night out where you need your make up to last more than a couple of hours without sweating off! It goes well with the studio fix powder also by MAC. Bit pricey compared to drugstore brands but worth it.

Finally a Perfect Match!

I have worn MAC products since the company's inception. Yes, a long LONG time. As far as foundations go I think I have tried, purchased, and worn every one they've ever made. One thing that was always a little disappointing was the orange tone that all of their cool shades (ie: NW20 + NW15) usually left on me. Because I've loved their products I usually worked through the mismatch and discoloration if the product was something I liked. I should also mention that there was also a period of about 5 years where we thought that maybe I wasn't cool toned since their warm toned products (ie: NC15) didn't leave that obvious line of demarcation along my jaw. But then one day I discovered Studio Fix Foundation in N5 (not to be confused with an NW shade)! OMG people! It was a PERFECT match! Did I say perfect? I'll say it again LOL. Seems my cool skin tone loves the extra pink (not peach) that this color provides. This has now remained my favorite got to/everyday foundation for several years. When new products come out and tempt me I'll buy them and judge their match to the color and properties of MAC Studio Fix in N5. The color is perfect for me and and the wear of this product is superb. I work 12 hr shifts and this foundation lasts very well throughout with no touch ups required and very little fading. It is a fairly full coverage product but it is able to be sheered out beautifully with either MAC Strobe Cream (for a more glowing finish) or MAC Face and Body foundation. So if you're cool toned and having a hard time color matching go ahead and take a look at their N shades. Hopefully you'll be as happy as I have been with your new discovery.
