Fresh Strawberry

Each pack comes with 6 macaroons for $4.99. I purchased these at Winners/Home Sense. These are Gluten-free; made in Italy. Each macaroon is 70 calories. A macaroon has 2 crunchy soft shells (fluffy when you bite into them) with a layer of thick cream sandwiched inside the shells. The filling is a white chocolate custard/ganache type filling. The custard is creamy and luxuriously smooth. The textural contrast is amazing with the crunchy shells and smooth filling. There is a strong berry/strawberry flavour that is not artificial tasting. This has a nice natural fruit flavour. The shell is sweet and there is a wonderful strawberry yogurt taste. This dessert reminds me of strawberry shortcake/Lindor Strawberries and Cream truffles. There is also a simple rose water taste which I love
