Not impressed.
I'm not really impressed. I'm NC25 Latina, I use the shade Y245 and it's the perfect match! Imperceptible in my neck.
Beautiful packaging, a pump, great for traveling, I haven't traveled yet, but I kept the box just in case the lid still comes out.
I'm not really impressed, I don't notice a huge change in my skin after I apply it, yes it unifies the tone, kills the redness but nothing spectacular like other foundations I have used. I kept it because is great for high definition camera and I'm working in front of it, so I was willing to use something amazing under this conditions. I haven't tested it yet for work but as soon as I try it, I will up to date my review.
So far,not impressed and I'm not using it for the everyday or real life, since I have other foundations I notice an amazing change after I apply them.
I find it pricey for what it delivers so far.
Why is this the #1 best selling foundation at Sephora?
I use the shade Y205
Don't get me wrong, this is an ok foundation, but it is not the best! I'm wondering why it has such a high following, and a high recommendation.
I find it to be rather tough to blend out, sponge or brush. It sets ok with powder and finishing spray but does NOT last all day.
When I can get this to work, with extra effort - serum, oil, moisturize, two primers - then it can look nice, but it's just not worth the effort!
hd ultra foundation
I received this as a sample ..I need a foundation that covers and evens out skin color,,this supposedly is used for camera makeup on tv. I am not so sure about that I didn't find the coverage great, it didn't cover my problem areas very well at all, the texture was nice, very light, but just wish it had better coverage
I would NOT buy this product again
I did not like how this wore on my face. however, I would not recommend this for any with oily combination skin or acne prone skin. I didn't find this to have great coverage and I felt like it emphasized my pores a lot.
This used to be my favourite foundation until they changed the formula. I prefer a full coverage foundation, and the previous formula was perfect for that. I recently repurchased this and the formula was much more watery and was a sheer to medium coverage. The old formula was better in my eyes.
I have tried so many foundations and this one is the most overrated. I have light acne and combination skin. The only GREAT thing about this product is the amount of shades available. This liquid foundation does not wear well through the day. If you have oily skin, stay far away from this product. It breaks down quite quickly. It's not long wearing at all. A primer and a setting powder is required for this to behave, and even then other foundations lined with a primer/setting powder perform better. For the price, this is inexcusable. There are superior products available at your local Sephora for a more affordable price that are more effective. The coverage is buildable, which is also an asset. I would only recommend this to people with dry skin with minimal skin issues who simply cannot find their shade in another line. This way you could wear a sheer layer (which would look quite natural) and it won't wear down so horribly over the day. There are so many other options available for a superior price though.
I bought some Makeup Forever at Sephora because I heard great reviews from friends. I asked the sales associate if it was hypoallergenic and they assured me it was. I tried the makeup the next weekend and as soon as I put it on my skin became irritated to the point that I had to wash it off. It was definitely a waste of money.
So I do love this foundation as it is for sure a full coverage foundation but I wouldn't use it everyday as it is very thick. It is great for a special occasion or a day where you need more coverage but it's too thick for me to us everyday, one way to make it feel lighter in your skin is with a damp beauty blender.
I got my Colour IQ done at Sephora and this was my #1 match. I used it for about 4 months, but switched to NARS because I just didn't love this one. It has good coverage and matched my skin well, but I have an oily tzone and it doesn't perform well on oily skin. It also clung to the dry skin I had on my cheeks, and made any dry patch stand out like crazy.
I found this product to be lightweight, fluid formula that blends easily.
Exceptional shade range, with options ranging from super fair to very deep.
Natural looking, satin finish on skin.
