Wanted to love it

I wanted to love this foundation - i'd heard so many good things about it, but it just didn't live up to the hype. I found the texture quite dry when I applied it, but my nose would by oily by lunchtime. I also struggled to find a good shade match - the shades are predominantly pink or yellow undertones, and I couldn't find a good match with a neutral undertone.

Great FULL coverage foundation

If you’re looking for a long lasting foundation with VERY full coverage this is the one. Shade spectrum is quite impressive. However price has increased from 49 to 52 dollars at Sephora in the last year. Not cheap!
I like the full coverage when I go out at night and sometimes during the day but during cooler season. Looks great in photos too...
Took one star off because it oxidizes abit after few hours. Also when you reach the end of the bottle, it seems to me that it becomes abit oily?

Wish I loved it

I tried out this foundation because my all-time favourite foundation Estee Lauder Double Wear just doesn't come in my shade. This settled into my pores and just didn't last as long as I would like on my skin sadly. I would say this is best applied with a brush.

Pretty Good

I went to Sephora and had a demo make over as I was in dire need of a good quality foundation. After trying a few brands, I found this one to be quite good. It smooths easily with fingers or blending sponges. It covers well. I find that it doesn’t leave heavy creases or has a cakey feel or look to it. But this is only if I use a modest amount for everyday wear. When going to a function I use a lot more. Still, it doesnt have that heavy feel to it. After a few hours I do get a bit oily but I use a powder to touch up. I like how they have tons of shades so finding an almost perfect match it quite easy. They have different categories such as neutral base or red or yellow base (depending on your skin type. I use R120 I believe as I have a bit of rosacea. I’ve used other brands both lower and higher end (L’Oréal vs Laura marcier) and I find this to be the best fit for me and has a natural non heavy look and feel to it. I’d say to try a demo to see how you look and feel. It is on the pricey side, over $50, but mine has lasted for almost a year, even more. I use it almost everyday.

Natural coverage

This is my go to favourite foundation that I wear everyday. It’s very light with great coverage and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything! High recommend

Makeup forever HD fond de teint

Je me suis rendu au Sephora puisque j'étais tanné des fond de teint de pharmacie qui me donnaient un teint orangé. J'ai la peau assez pale, donc je trouve plus difficile de trouver un fond de teint qui me convient. Celui de makeup forever est tout simplement génial. Il est facile à appliquer, offre une belle couvrance et procure un teint unis. C'est un produit que je recommande sans hésiter.

Good foundation

I've heard so many good things about makeup forever HD makeup so I've always wanted to try it. My sister in law has it and we are the same shade so I tried it . It's a medium coverage makeup but it is buildable . It has a nice light weight feeling , applies And blends well . I have red , acne prone skin so I needed an extra layer . It doesn't look cakey and lasts all day . My favourite part was that it didn't move when I was adding contour , blush , Bronzer , highlight , etc . My favourite foundation does that and I hate it but it covers well so I kept using it . So makeup forever HD is a great foundation and it can be found at Sephora . It is a little expensive but it's worth it . It also has a pump which I like .

I have just purchased the makeup forever HD foundation for the third time. I do try and look for other brands to see if there is anything better, but so far have had no luck. The product goes on smooth, has great coverage and is very buildable. The best part is that the foundation is not heavy or drying, which is a major selling point.

I like this foundation but it is definitely not full coverage. I have to apply a couple layers. But the positive is that its very lightweight and to me it feels like I'm barely wearing any foundation.

Make up Forever is my go to foundation company! I find that the HD Foundation is a bit heavier than I like but it has great coverage and covers everything that I need. It also doesn't feel too heavy. It is a bit thicker than I usually wear but it's great for an event. It is not an everyday foundation!
