Gorgeous! Make Up Forever is one of my favorite makeup brands without a doubt. Their glitter is amazing. You don't need much to get a noticeable, gorgeous glittery effect. I use it over a cream base usually but there are many different suggestions on how to use it. Really it depends on what look you are trying to achieve. Right now I only have the multicolored pink one, but I have used all of the others and not one has ever been disappointing. They are long lasting yet easy to remove which is a huge bonus as glitters can be a pain! You can add this to Lip Gloss, Nail Polish, Shadow, and much more!! The Picture is that Pink Multi that I currently have and it is one of my favorite colors!

If you drool over Jennifer Lopez's (Jlo) eyes/eyeshadow every time you see her, join my club! ;) I was sold on trying this product when I saw it being used at the Make Up For Ever counter at The Bay. The girl sitting had asked for "Jlo eyes" - shades of shimmery browns with various tones blended together. I couldn't believe how natural but red carpet ready the girl looked. I bought a few colours and have been wearing them sporadically ever since.
Tip: always apply with kleenex/toilet paper under your bottom lashes to catch the loose powder as it falls during application.

Although I love cosmetics immensely and trying out new techniques and products on myself and clients etc. I wouldn't ever label myself a 'girly' girl. So when it comes to anything glittery and myself, I am a little gun shy. And when it comes to any products with glitter I usually find that the glitter particles are too big and it looks clownish or they are too fine and you see more of a shimmer effect. But when it comes to my favourite eye shadows, Make Up Forever is my go to brand. I find their colours so nice and vibrant that you hardly have to use any on your brush. So a little eye shadow pot that costs sixteen dollars actually goes a long long way. So when I was looking for a gorgeous turquoise shade I immediately went to them. However, was disappointed when they were all out of the shade in the basic eye shadow product. But the cosmetician told me they had it in their 'Glitters' collection. I was so desperate for this exact colour that I said OK sure.

And I wasn't disappointed, the glittery shadow goes on silky and blends well with other colours on your eyelids for a dramatic effect when you want to go out. It also works really well if you use it as a liner with a flat angled brush, just to get a bit of the subtle effect otherwise. So even if you're not 'girly' or a huge fan of similar products I would definitely give it a try.

I went into Sephora to get a pink eyeshadow (I... love pink, haha) that wouldn't fade so quickly and really stood out. I was told that this product was very good. The price is a bit much- but it's of great quality and you get a lot of eyeshadow that you won't have to reapply. It really does stay on your eyelids all day, and doesn't fall onto your face while you're wearing it! It's not subtle though- you should only wear it if you WANT the pink to stand out A LOT. They do have other shades that are less bright, though. Removing this with any ordinary eye makeup remover can be a little irritating, but it's easily removed with some Extra Virigin Olive Oil.
