This is a beautiful kids story explaining that although mother's have to leave ( whether it's birds, cats, dogs, humans.etc.) that they always come back home to their babies. This would be a great book for anyone but I think its especially nice for a mother that's going back to work to let their child know that although they have to gosomewhere without them, that they will miss them and can't wait to be home to them. My sixteen month old daughter loves the illustrations and is always excited and pointing to the pictures. It's a wonderful book and a nice addition to your child's library.
