Sizing Way off, No Returns
Terrible sizing advice. I usually take a 7 1/2 followed their size guide which says to go down to the nearest full size since their shoes stretch out. Yeah they stretch out all right, in the ankles and heel so your heel will feel loose like its slipping around while your toes are totally crunched. Terrible waste of money with a very strict return policy. They should update their sizing or be more transparent. I was told my moccasins would stretch out half an inch and they hardly have. Painful, uncomfortable, waste of money. Not to mention 90% of their stuff is made in China.
I will never buy these ever again!
I always wanted a pair of these, I am Canadian and love supporting Canadian businesses! I finally got a pair for my birthday and I was beyond exited! They were 160 plus taxes and cosco gets them before Christmas! When I put them on yes they were comfy and beautiful but then the horror started happening, they are not warm at all, dangerously sleepy and they are made in China YES CHINA! They gave me this whole crazy nice story at the mukluk booth and told me they were made in Canada when it was a crazy lie! Never would I support this company and I made sure to tell everybody about this and post all over!
Would definitely get a second pair.
The Manitoba Mukluks are excellent boots. They are very comfortable and well made. The soles are as beautiful as the boot and designed by First Nations artisans. The flat sole makes them easy to walk in snow and the sheeps fur insoles keep your feet toasty warm.
Terrible customer service especially for the price.
I loved these boots I got for Christmas from my hubby. Before I even wore them my sisters dog got to one. I called the company hoping that they could offer a repair or a discounted replacement boot or anything really. I paid almost $300 for my Canadian made boots (which i found out later had chineese fur and australian leather! :(). They just blew me off. I am so angry, I wasn't expecting free but now I have useless boots. I can't even do a google or facebook review they appear to have that locked tight. Good luck, not worth the money i paid now since they will never be worn.
Love Manitobah Mukluks!
I purchased the Waterproof Snowy Owl Mukluks in black last year. It is going on my second year with these boots and they have quickly become my favourite. So warm and cozy! I also like that these are waterproof so I don't have to worry about ruining them stepping in slush. I did protect them with a waterproofing spray though just to avoid salt stains. These are pretty expensive but so worth it. The quality is great. Another thing I like about them is that they look nice. I find boots to be so blah. These are not. The addition of fur and beading just makes them look so good. I also like that they are tall boots so that stepping in deep snow is not a problem. As I mentioned, this is my second year wearing them and they still look great. I am sure I will be able to get at least a few more winters out of this pair so to me, that makes them well worth the price.
Love these Boots
Purchased the Mid Kanata Mukluks last year absolutely love them warm and fuzzy sheepskin linine inside gorgous beadwork and suede outside no need to wear socks actually it's discouraged even in -30 weather best thing if I didn't want to go barefoot is to wear a nylon stocking only downfall on these boots is the tration on ice in spring the thawing snow and refreezing of the puddles is down right dangerous for a Clutz like me problem solved by walking real slow or going around the icy patches
These are a dream. I bought these as a Showstopper on the Shopping Channel. They are chocolate colour, and to me are a piece of art. They are the most beautiful lush suede, the Pom poms add whimsy! My cat luvs them when I walk in them. They are beyond cozy and comfy, I was actually a bit peeved we had a very mild winter...these babies can take the cold!
These are so warm and comfortable to wear in winters. They look so chick and stylish and the quality is great!
These boots are super comfortable, and stylish, they last quite long nd keep your feet warm during the cold Canadian winter.
When I bought these boots I loved them! They were super warm for the weather where I live. It's usally -30 to -40 degrees celcus here. So they did keep my feet warm. I've had them for about 3 years now and wore them everyday for the whole winter. They are still in good condition only thing is they aren't warm any longer. The outside of the boot kept well but inside the liner is worn out.
