So smooth…

I got this lipstick in a set. I wasn’t even interested in it per se, I bought the set for the perfume. However, this lipstick was such a surprise! It goes on smooth, it’s hydrating and the colour complements all shades. I knew Marc Jacobs for his signature scents but this lipstick…..awesome. I took off some star’s for the price and the fact that it’s not long-wearing. But I’d still buy it again.

I got the shade sugar sugar and I loved it at first but then I tried other types of lip gloss and found this one pretty regular compared to the other ones, it's nothing amazing.

It wasn't bad but I will not buy again.

I will start off by saying, for me, lip gloss is a hard sell. I just don`t like the feeling of it on my lips and so far this product hasn`t changed my opinion. I will say that it is less tacky than most lip glosses. I picked up Sugar Sugar which is supposed to be a universal nude shade but on me it pulls orange-nude. It has a slight peppermint taste and tingling feeling to it. It lives up to its name in that it is very shiny and is less prone to change formulation with the warmth of the body. I just dont get the hype, nor do I get the accompanying price tag. That`s why I`m giving it an average rating. For this price point, it should only be one step away from the cure for cancer.
