I received this product through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I've been using it now for about 2 weeks and have actually noticed a difference. I've tried other eye creams and never really noticed much of a change, but this one has been great. It's got a nice texture (not sticky or greasy) and absorbs really well. And I admit, I don't have many wrinkles, but I do get dark circles easily and find the skin around my eyes can look dull, especially if I haven't had enough sleep. Since I began using this product, I've noticed the circles are less noticeable and my skin is tighter and soft. I'm pretty impressed to be honest - I never really thought I needed something like this yet, but it feels good to know that I'm doing something now to pre-empt signs of aging that we all know are coming! :)
This eye cream lived up to its claims of being quickly absorbed and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It moisturizes well without being greasy at all, and the pump dispenses the proper amount in one pump to cover both eyes. The packaging is sleek and modern. This eye cream would be great for someone who is experiencing his/her first wrinkles around the eye but isn't yet requiring more advanced eye creams that contain collagen, retinol (Vitamin A), etc., that other companies like L'Oreal offer.
One feature i would appreciate Marcelle adding to this eye cream is SPF, since UV rays are the #1 contributor to wrinkles and visible signs of aging.
Otherwise, this product offers good value for someone with minimal wrinkles and fine lines who's needing an easily-absorbed, well-moisturizing eye cream that minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eye.
I am 31 and I have the starts of some wrinkles and sometimes I have dark circles. I have not ever used an eye cream so I was excited to try this product. It is creamy and with the wicked wind we've had lately I did notice I didn't have those dry areas around the bottom of my eyes. I did not notice that my wrinkles are much different, thought I suppose the dark circles are less noticeable. I liked how smooth and creamy it went on, and I found the pump only put out a small amounts. I'm hoping if I use it for a couple more weeks I will notice more changes than I have thus far.
I'm entering my 30's and have dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. I noticed great changes after a few days of using this product. The puffiness was significantly reduced. I noticed the most difference after I applied my makeup. I didn't have to spend much time at all to cover up my dark circles. I think I have found my new favorite eye cream. It is a bit pricy, but the overall quality provides a good value. The texture is smooth and I was able to apply it very easily and effortlessly. As for the scent I didn't love it or hate it. You can't smell it after you've applied it anyways so it didn't bother me throughout the day.
I used the Marcelle Essentials 1st Wrinkles Eye Contour Cream for as long as I could before writing this review. When I received the product, the first thing I noticed was the bottle, it is really nice looking! I am not an eye cream user normally so when I got this cream I didn't really know what to expect. The results have been amazing! You only have to pump it once to get enough cream for both eyes. I had dark circles, which appear to be a bit lighter and the few fine lines around my eyes, I really can't see anymore! This cream is smooth to apply and it doesn't sting or irritate my eyes at all, which are sensitive at times. It absorbed quickly, which was a bonus because you have to put it on in the morning and evening and in the morning, I am always rushing to catch a bus so I was happy I didn't have to wait for the cream to absorb before I could apply my makeup! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is trying to lighten dark circles or smooth out some eye wrinkles because it actually works well! I love it!
This eye cream form Marcelle is meant for women fighting against and preventing the first signs of aging. The cream is something of a mixture between a gel and a cream, but it doesn't leave your skin feeling oily like some creams do. I felt it did make my dark circles less obvious, but as for the other promises, I can't say I noticed a difference. Also the pump mechanism doesn't work well, so sometimes you need to pump it several times.
Overall, just an okay eye cream.
I have been using this product for a little over a week now and I LOVE IT! I'm 30yrs old and while I don't have eye wrinkles (very very very slight ones when I smile) I have been waking up in the past few months with puffy eyes and dark circles! Very frustrating especially since I'm someone who gets a great night of sleep! Like Daisy in the previous review I have sensitive skin so I have to be mindful of products I use on my skin. This product goes on smoothly and instead of rubbing in the cream I did the recommended tapping along the eye area. I was very pleased the first morning when I didn't have a reaction but my puffy eyes were still there. I have been using the product religiously day and night and finally after day 5 realized that the area around my eye was brighter AND the puffiness was gone! I didn't change my diet and I didn't get more sleep then usual so all the credit goes to Marcelle 1st Wrinkles Eye Cream! I have to tell you I'm someone who is willing to spend $60 dollars and up on products for my face and I have purchased eye cream in the past that was significantly more expensive than Marcelle for the eye area. Never again! Why would I spend so much money when I can purchase Marcelle 1st Wrinkles Eye Cream for $27 dollars? I will be purchasing more once I go through this cream, it's an essential part of my night and morning beauty regime! Ladies go out there purchase this cream and give it a chance, it won't happen overnight but in a few days you WILL see results!
I was very excited to try this cream, but unfortunately I have very sensitive skin and eyes. I tried it first at night, and had a tingling sensation when I put it on. I figured this was the cream working, but unfortunately, I had giant bags under my eyes in the morning. I tried it that morning, but it irritated my eyes all day. I wanted to give it a fair shot, so I tried it that night, but again had almost swollen eyes. The cream felt gel-like, and was easy to apply. I would not recommend this cream for someone with very sensitive skin or eyes. It is too bad because I am 32 years old, and have just recently been trying new eye creams, to prevent early wrinkles. The price is good, the cream is smooth, and is just heavy enough to stay on.
I received this eye cream through the ChickAdvisor product review club. I loved it in how it was fast absorbing, not sticky, and came out in perfect amount from the pump which makes it hygienic. The cream is illuminated so it brightens your eye area. I have been using it day and night for 10 days and now the dark circles under my eyes have lightened. Usually I don't believe in creams lightening under my eyes because Ive tried so many and it didnt make a difference. So when I got this for free I thought let me try it and I am loving it! As for wrinkles I dont have any just laugh lines and I felt like those have been minimized too. I recommend this for sure so go out and buy it!
I don't have lines around my eyes, but I do find that I'm more prone to dark circles and puffiness when I'm tired now (I'm turning 31). So I was glad to try a product aimed at brightening up the eye area, instead of targeting wrinkles. I haven't used an eye cream before, but I applied an adequate amount before bed and a little less in the morning, and I thought the texture was great (for those that found that too much product came out at times, use the excess on your lips, that skin needs extra TLC too). This is smooth, non-greasy, and doesn't make eye makeup slide around. My only concern is that I may have had a slight reaction to the cream at night - when I woke up in the morning, my eyes had teared a lot in my sleep. After four nights, I applied the cream only to the circles under my eyes and not on the lids, and that seemed to do the trick. Maybe my skin was sensitive because I've never worn cream at night.
Anyway, I'm curious to see if a longer use yields more obvious results. For now, I like the idea of taking care of the delicate eye area, and if it didn't make me look miraculously well-rested, it made my skin smooth and soft, and a colleague at work asked if I had switched to a new mascara. I'll keep using it.
