Overall I like this product. I was lucky to be chosen for a free trial and review this product. I haven't really used it long enough since only received it 5 days ago so don't know if it is effective for 'anti-wrinkle'. After applying on my skin, it felt very light, not heavy like other foundations. The colour I chose was Natural Beige and it blended very well with my skin. I was not allergic to it and it didn't dry up my skin so overall I like it. However I don't like the smell of it, even after I applied it on my face, I can still smell it, I can't really explain this faint smell. At first I thought it may of been by foundation applicator but it wasn't because when I use the same brush to apply on another brand of foundation, there was no smell. It is supposed to be 'fragrance free' but there is some kind of scent that I don't like. If they put a light fragrance, then it would be perfect.

Please if the Marcelle sees this review, please do something about the 'smell'. This is the only thing that will deter me from using this product.

I must have received a bad batch because the smell of the product on my skin was so bad, that I wanted to just give up on it. I tried it a 2nd and 3rd time (maybe the smell would go away), but the smell was still there. Hard to describe, but reminds me of the smell of a chicken farm. It's not a perfume smell, not a chemical smell...it just reeked.

That said, I have to rate the product. Bad smell aside (because, again, maybe it was just a bad batch that I got, and judging from other reviews, maybe I did)...the product is okayyyy. It's sheer and feels light and you don't notice that you have make-up on. I did have to put quite a lot on though to even out the skin tone. Using a makeup sponge, I used about a dime-sized amount in order to even out the skin tone. After applying, I don't feel like the crows feet around my eyes were reduced any.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. If you're looking for sheer foundation, there are others out there worth trying.

I am in my mid-thirties and have fairly healthy skin so I've never been one to use foundation and clog up my pores unnecessarily. But when I received this product through the Product Review Club, I figured I would give it a try. Let me just say that I am now sold on the product. I found that it glided on effortlessly and provided good coverage - a little definitely goes a long way. The texture was smooth and light, feeling as though I hardly put anything on my face at all. I also liked that it was fairly odourless and didn't challenge my perfume. As for anti-wrinkle, well it is hard to say just how effective it is for covering up wrinkles with just a few applications but I did like that it didn't crease around my eyes and forehead area. Definitely a product you should try.

I received this product from the Product Review Club and seeing as I don't leave the house without foundation I was very excited to try it. I'm in my mid thirties so I'm just starting to see some lines around my eyes so I've been wanting to try a foundation that would address this rather than the brand I've been using since my early twenties which I've outgrown.

I've been using this foundation for over a week and overall I'm pleased with the results. I like how the product seems to glide over my fine lines instead of settle in them, it does this with a very natural light feel as if I'm not wearing any base at all. I also appreciated the lack of scent and it was very gentle for my skin. The only thing I found myself wishing for was a little shine control as I noticed I had to use my pressed powder through the day. This product washed off very easily and was easy to apply. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this in the future. Now if they'd only put the product in recyclable packaging then I'd be really happy!

I tested this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and have used it over the past two weeks while alternating with my usual foundation (MAC Studio Fix). The high quality of this "made in Canada" product is evident from the moment you dispense some of the foundation onto your fingertips or onto a sponge. It goes on evenly and smoothly with a rich and luxurious texture that, as others have noted, does not feel heavy on skin. This foundation was easy to blend and it did not feel as though I was wearing a "mask" of foundation. Slight blemishes are easily covered up using the Marcelle New Age Anti-Wrinkle Make-up Foundation.

I still love my MAC Studio Fix more because it comes in a portable compact (instead of a liquid dispenser), but would happily recommend this as a more economical alternative.

I have shared the Marcelle foundation with my mother (who is 62) to get her comments on it, and she reported that this is one of the best foundations she has tried. It made her skin glow and earned her a number of compliments on her youthful look. This is a winner!

I received this product as part of the Product Review Club. This is yet another good quality product from the Marcelle line-up. There are only 6 shades to choose from which is limited but the shades are a good mix. I love the fact that it is a pump foundation which keeps it clean, no contamination with the outside environment and also easy to apply, not to mention the ability to control the amount you want to use. Even though this product is being advertised as being medium coverage I would consider this more as a light foundation more ideal for complexions that don't need a lot of covering up i.e acne, or moles. It goes on very silky smooth and really doesn't feel like you have anything on your face which is great as I find some foundations out there not only goes on clumpy but just feels so heavy that my pores are not able to breathe. There is no scent and I did not feel any irritation which is an added bonus. I am still trying to figure out what makes this product "anti-wrinkle". I do have some laugh lines - but didn't notice the wrinkles going away, but what I did notice is because the coverage is so sheer it didn't clump up and make the lines even more noticeable. If I figure out this mystery I will let everyone know.

The price that you pay is a little more than some of the other product offering in a drugstore, but I do feel that this is a higher quality product than your Cover Girl, etc. line. One more thing to add is that this foundation stays on your face. I went to the gym with it on my face and stayed on my face even though I did sweat while cycling on the bike.

I tested the Marcelle New-Age Anti-Wrinkle foundation for 1 week.. The colour I selected was ivory (I usually wear Cover Girl foundation in ivory). The colour was a good match for my skin tone; my sister actually commented on how well it matched my skin. The product was easy to dispense from the pump bottle, was light in texture and absorbed quickly into the skin making application very easy.

The first day I used it I did notice some irritation over some blemishes that I had applied benzoyl peroxide to prior to applying the foundation. It was a burning sensation that lasted for maybe 30mins. and then disappeared. I have never had this sensation using another foundation. I stopped using the benzoyl peroxide prior to applying the foundation and noticed no further problems with a burning sensation so I attribute the irritation to some reaction between the benzoyl peroxide and some ingredient in the foundation. Other than this issue which was easily solved, I really liked this foundation.

In the days I used it I noticed that the rough texture to my skin was gone and my skin felt soft and smooth almost as if I had used an exfoliating product. I was very impressed with this aspect of the product. The foundation provided light to medium coverage and did not cover all of my blemishes and acne scars to the degree I would have liked. The product did even out my overall skin tone. I have oily skin and this product did not increase the oiliness of my skin and it did not cause further blemishes.

As for the anti-aging aspect of the product it is difficult to determine this quality of the product as I used it for such a short time. Overall, I was impressed and pleased with this product and would continue to use it especially for the feeling of smoothness and softness it left on my face.

    THE REAL SCOOP

This is yet another great product from the Marcelle line-up! The quality of this pump foundation is up-market from it's drugstore peers and leaves skin feeling silky. There are only 6 shades to select from, but the Natural Beige (with yellow undertones) matches my skin tone well; for reference, I am usually an NC30 in the MAC cosmetics line. The foundation is advertised as being a medium coverage product, but I find that it goes on fairly sheer with buildable coverage. This is ideal for complexions that just want some evening out but not heavy-duty coverage.

I really like the Marcelle New•Age Anti-Wrinkle Make-Up foundation because there is a fair bit of product for the price, and due to the fluid texture of the product a little goes a long way. The pump is excellent because it allows you to control the amount of product you use without exposing the remaining amount to pollutants and germs. The finish of the foundation leaves my skin silky and (dare I say) luminous, without feeling mask-like. I haven't been using the foundation long enough to attribute any anti-aging properties to it, but I do like that the liquid goes on smoothly (which is suitable for maturing skin). I personally prefer this over the Marcelle sheer tint moisturizing fluid, which is their tinted moisturizer offering, because the shade matches my skin tone more closely.

    BOTTOM LINE

The consistency and finish is similar to the (now discontinued) Diorskin Pure Light foundation line, for a fraction of the price, and the results are last throughout the day (when set with a loose translucent setting powder). Hypoallergenic and fragrance-free, it's a bit more expensive than the other offerings at the drug store, so if you can find a shade that matches your skin tone well then it is worth a try.

This is a light weight, fragrance free foundation that evens out skin tone without covering my freckles. It has a nice pump action so you get the right amount each time you use it. It has light reflective particles to slightly brighten the complexion so you don't look dull - especially for the summer. It is easy to apply and dried quite quickly - which is great if your mornings are like mine!! I did find that after a few days my t-zone area was drier so if you are already dry then you may need something with more oils. Over all a very nice product.

I received the foundation through the product review club. The packaging is very nice and to me makes the foundation look expensive. The pump is very handy as you can control how much you get from the bottle. I have quite pale skin so i chose ivory, when i first put it on i thought it was too pale but it blended in well and now i think my previous foundation was too dark for me!! With the Marcelle foundation there was no streaky marks and left a powdery finish to my skin.
Was also impressed by the staying factor it. Usually by the time i take my make up off at the end of the day there isn't much to take off, but with the Marcelle foundation it stays on long and so makes me look better for longer!! Would defo buy this again.
