Great chocolate with a hint of Canadian maple

I really loved this chocolate bar! I bought it for $1.25 at one of my local grocery stores and if I see it again I would want to buy more. I don't see it too often which is a bit disappointing. The chocolate on this bar is a creamy and delicious milk chocolate. There is a thick milk chocolate layer on the outside layer. The inside is a soft and chewy nugget and a thick layer of sweet and smooth caramel. The caramel has a nice stickiness to it, but it's not overly sticky. There is a mild maple flavor to the caramel sauce which I really enjoyed. It gave a nice Canadian feel to the chocolate bar. The smell of this bar was like maple syrup.

Traditional Mars With Light Maple Twist

This is a maple version of the standard Mars Bar, which is essentially a layer of creamy milk chocolate covering a layer of caramel (top) and a soft nougat (bottom). The bar is soft and chewy, but not in a hard-to-chew type of way. The caramel has a soft pull when you bite into the chocolate bar. The nougat inside is similar to a 3 Musketeer bars. I found the maple flavour to be mild but others I know tended to find it came through quite a lot. The thing we agreed on was that we all enjoyed it and would definitely get it again. This bar is slightly smaller and less thick than a traditional Mars bar.
