I love my Mary Kay Compact. It fits perfectly in my purse or travel bag and I can custom fill it with my favorite colours for the seasons. Plus I have a spot for my lipstick or gloss.

Mary Kay sells compacts that can be re-used for years. You buy separate mineral eye colours & blushes, or foundations/powders/bronzers to go in the compact. It is magnetic and the makeup comes in a metal holder, so you just pop out the empty one and replace with a new one when needed. Keep your makeup together and easy to carry in your purse. The basic compact is $22 in Canada.

I much preferred the older style compact . This one is smaller and it is a bit hard to open. The foam applicator that came with it broke after three uses. The smallness is good to slip into a purse and fro travelling but the magnetic strip sometimes does not adequately hold the eye-shadows in place .

This makes carrying make up much more convenient. It allows you to choose exactly what colors you want and not have a bunch of makeup in the bottom of your purse.
