This is a semi matte lipstick so it won't be quite as drying as a full matte lipstick formulation, but there is a bit of settling into the lines of your lips. There is some slight drag when applying so I wish the formula was a little smoother, but the color does last for hours without my lips feeling like the desert!

i received this product to test and review from ChickAdvisor. The Mary Kay gel lipstick is moisturizing on the lips - I tried the shade Midnight Red - it's a beautiful deep red. The lipstick feels really creamy on the lips. The finish is just as the product name indicates - it's a semi-matte finish.

I love this lipstick! It's so soft and moisturizing! The colour is very pigmented. Rich vibrant colours. I will be buying this again for sure!

Glides on great with good coverage! The "poppy please" was a bit too red for me but the "powerful pink" looked great! Stayed on evenly even after drinking out of a glass.

This lipstick was okay. I received it for free as part of the showcase, but I don't think I would buy it. I found it hard to put on and it came off very easily.

LOVE the powerful pink colour it's beautiful and great for all year around. I got this for free and I would re purchase however I would make sure to put a lip balm on. Overall a must have!

As a lover of red lipstick, poppy please hits home with my love of red lips. Easy to apply and in a nicely built container, the lipstick will be an essential when going out for a night.

I am such a huge fan of red lipstick but this color is pure perfection! I love how smooth it goes on my lips and that I don't have to wear a gloss on top. It's also long lasting! My new favorite for fall!

I tried this item for free. I tried the Midnight Red and love it!! Not too dark, goes on smooth, not too matt...awesome product! The true test will be seeing how long it lasts throughout the day, but I am impressed so far...

Very nice colour but find it feels a bit dry. It seems to bleed quite a bit. The product packaging is beautiful. I will prob try in a different colour with a liner. I tested this for free at the Vancouver showcase 2016
