This lipstick was okay. I received it for free as part of the showcase, but I don't think I would buy it. I found it hard to put on and it came off very easily.
I received this product from the Chick Advisor showcase. I got the shades Poppy Please and Midnight Red. As an Asian olive skin tone, I believe the shade selection in this Gel Semi-Matte collection was made for either light and tanned skin tones more because Poppy Please made me more yellow than I already am. Although Midnight Red looks decent on my skin tone, I prefer less color pigmentation as personal preference. If you had to buy a new lipstick, I would not recommend this because it's also 21$. You can probably get better lipsticks out there in the drugstore or Sephora.
I received thi lipstick from chick advisor on the 2nd of oct. at the Loews Hotel for free. I do
The colour is not for me, I don,t enjoy the semi mat look an miss the hydration which it truly lacks.
Will not be buying.
malheureusement ce produit n'est pas un coup de cœur! La sensation sur les lèvres est désagréable, il assèche les lèvres...j'ai envi de mettre un hydratant par dessus le rouge à lèvres. De plus il tâche les lêvres.
I am reviewing the shade powerful pink
This lipstick formula is very nice and creamy, and the colour can be applied sheerly for a light wash pink or built up for a more dramatic, night-time colour. I don't find it to be drying, it doesn't smudge easily and is comfortable to wear. It is a gorgeous colour . , this lipstick does not last very long and fades quickly - even without eating or drinking. It has to be touched up constantly throughout the day. Because of this, I would not ....
For the Mary Kay semi-matte lipstick I had the color "Poppy Please". It is very orange, and would need to be mixed with another color to suit me. It also left my lips feeling really dry that i had to add some chapstick.
The packaging is pretty and simple!
The lipstick has a nice colour, but definitely requires a lip liner to make sure it doesn't "bleed around". Nice moisturizing touch, but not very matte.
I received this lipstick in the shade "Poppy Please" which is a bright orangy-red. This is a gel semi matte lipstick. I thought that since it was a gel formula, the application would be easy and smooth. However, this lipstick didn't glide on my lips as I expected. The colour was nice and pigmented and the finish, as stated, is semi matte, so there a little subtle shine.
This product did have a nice colour and a very comfortable finish, but I found I needed to swipe it repeatedly to get a full colour payoff. For the price (21$), I would more likely purchase a lipstick from MAC which is comparably priced, easier to find and more pigmented and long lasting.
Really nice color, but not too easy to apply. Doesn't seem to last long either. A bit expensive for what you get. Good for daytime or casual wear, definitely not all day.
