Very nice colour but find it feels a bit dry. It seems to bleed quite a bit. The product packaging is beautiful. I will prob try in a different colour with a liner. I tested this for free at the Vancouver showcase 2016

I never wear lipstick but the Mary Kay was surprisingly good. The lipsticks look very bright but it actually blends into the lips. I would use the neutral colours day to day.

This lipstick is really pigmented and hydrating and comparable to other brands around the same price. The packaging is really cute too.

This lippies are nicely pigmented and they are fairly long-lasting. The colours are gorgeous and Mary Kay offers a great selection of shades. I also love the packaging.

I tried Mary Kay's Gel Semi-Matte lipstick at the Montreal ChickAdvisor Showcase. It feels nice on the lips. It isn't drying. I tried Powerful Pink and Poppy Please. The colour is way to bright for me unfortunately. I felt like my lips were glowing in the dark. I do like the packaging though. There is a window at the top where you can see the colour.

These semi-matte lipsticks are very creamy when you apply them and the colour are very vibrant and pigmented. I tried poppy please, a beautiful red shade and it truly complimented my dark skin tone. I had never tried any marykay products before but this will definitely make me! #MKsemimatte

I tried this lipstick in Midnight red & Powerful Pink - I love the midnight red for night time and the powerful pink for daytime. The colors are nicely pigmented and slide onto the lips quite easily. I find it very matte even though it says it's semi-matte. The price is very good,definitely on the lower price range. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is b/c I don't find it hydrating enough, but that's to be expected from matte lipsticks.

I received at the showcase 2016. I got in the shade powerfull pink and midnight red. Powerfull pink its a bright magenta pink and midnight red is more dark red. They moisturize your lips, they are semi-matte and i feel confortable in this. The packaging is quite nice, the top part is clear so you can see visibly the color of the lipstick.

Specifically I tried on the midnight red colour. It is very dark and red and perfect for fall. It goes on very smooth and it's pretty moisturizing, it didn't look clunky on my super dry lips like a lot of other lipsticks do which I found refreshing. After some vigourous sapping on a napkin the colour is still as dark and no longer leaves a mark on my drinking glass. This is where it surprised me because my lips still feel smooth and conditioned. I do find it a bit expensive for lipstick. But I'm a cheapo when it comes to makeup. All in all the colour's great, my lips are hydrated and it's not all over my teeth so that's pretty awesome. However, after drinking a few sips of tea it has faded towards the inner lip.

I never wear lipstick so I cannot compare it to other brands.
I find the lipstick does not last on the lip.
I would not buy this product only because i do not wear lipstick
