I received this product at the Chickadivisor Showcase to test and review. I tried on the Midnight Red Marykay matte lipstick. The color is very pigmented and easy to apply. This is a really good quality lipstick and has good lasting power.

The shade "Poppy Please" is red-orange based and went on very smoothly and packed a lot of colour! It feels very light on my lips and not dry at all. This colour would be work appropriate or if I applied it heavier- it would work well for going out. The packaging is also great with a see-through cap so if you had a bunch of them, you would be able to tell what colour you're grabbing.

Absolutely LOVE this powerful pink semi matte lipstick I have been given for free to review. I'd definitely recommend this for people who get dry lips easily because is super moisturizing

I just tried the Mary Kay Powerful Pink lipstick and it glides on smooth and very soft ! Looks very nice I like the the semi-matte! It stays on a while too!

I absolutely love how nice this lipstick goes on. It smells nice too. The colors are very vibrant and long lasting. It isn't sticky or dry but just right. I definitely recommend.

The feel of the lipsticks is great! Very smooth. After drinking coffee the lipstick is still there. Probably will be long lasting. Just not a fan if the red colors, would prefer nudes.

I tried the Midnight Red at the ChickAdvisor Showcase - it's definitely a well pigmented colour and goes on very smooth. For me, I don't think it'd be a daytime colour as I have fair skin, it's a bit too dark for me. But a night out colour, I would definitely use it for. It's a colour that works on many different skin tones. Goes on matte, feels smooth and flatters many skin tones.

At chickadvisor in Vancouver. #mksemimatte I just tried the Mary Kay gel semi-matte lipstick in poppy please and LOVE IT. Feels comfortable and moisturizing. Stays in place nicely. I would buy more for sure!

Mary Kay lipstick is very rich and soft on my lips. The Midnight Red color is very strong on my lips and great for night time or for a business lady. It's a light gel formula for soft lips. It contains sunflower oil and jojoba esters to help condition lips.
