I got this saw at around 200 dollars at Canadian tire the stand was another 75. This saw has helped me make so much furniture. It can be adjusted to cut whatever angle/degree you need it feels safe to use cause the wood would hit the wall the way the blade spins, not like a table saw which is a little more risky to use. I've made countless pieces on my one blade and it's still going strong. This is a good tool by mastercraft
