I do not normally heat style my hair, so I am unable to vouch if this was an effective product to use against damage due to heat exposure.

What I do use it for was to smooth and add shine to my hair when needed. In that aspect, it works as expected, and adds a nice distinctive scent that all of the other Biolage products have. It did not have enough hold to keep away the flyaways in the winter, so it worked the best during the warmer weather.

One bottle had lasted me for about 3 years on my long hair - and will continue to last me another two years or so. No signs of obvious deterioration, fortunately.

(I received this as a part of a giveway from the company. It is pricey for what it was, considering that there were plenty of effective silicone based glosses that were a fraction of the price and provided the same results.)
