Decent Everyday Mascara, Missing The Wow Factor

Having fine, fair and rather lacklustre lashes, I'm a bit of a mascara junkie, accruing quite a collection from budget to high end and while, like with most beauty products and makeup, different people will get different results, I've found it's not necessarily the most expensive products that are the most impressive.

I've found Max Factor mascaras to be effective and dependable, with a good variety of different options depending on the results you are seeking, so when I received these as a gift from Max Factor, I was looking forward to discovering the benefits of this product over other mascaras I have.

The soft rose gold colour of the packaging is stylish and aesthetically pleasing, and the shape of the product feels nice in my hand but the mascara itself is a little lacklustre. Beautifully black, it applies easily but while it coats my lashes well and doesn't clump, even with several coats there is no noticeable increase in volume. You promised me volume Max Factor!

So, for a decent everyday mascara it's perfectly fine but it just didn't deliver in the volume stakes.
