A bit too 'bold'
I was interested to try this given the claims of added caffeine and bold flavours - Well, the flavour was certainly bold, almost too much so. Did I notice a considerable difference between the 112mg of caffeine in regular Maxwell vs 196mg in the 1.75X? Not that I can say really, but my caffeine tolerance is quite high. Others might find the taste alone to be too strong...
nice wakeup
It has a nice flavour that is robust and strong. I found it satisfying and great for first thing in the morning. It helps to wake me up and start the day.
Later, flavour
Dont buy this coffee if you're looking for a good tasting beverage. This is not the one. But if you are looking for something with a bit more kick, then this will work. If it wasnt for the awful taste, I would buy this more often. Too bad.
Great Coffee
They contain 1.5x the caffeine of a regular pod and contains no artificial ingredients - just the bean! The brew is said to be medium. It tasted the same to me. I'm not too sure about the extra caffeine either, I felt about the same. It's an okay coffee to me, but because of the price difference we'll stick to our regular blue tins.
just okay
We're not coffee connoisseurs or anything, our regular coffee brand at home is Maxwell, and we do take instant coffee as well. Max Boost says it has 1.5 times more caffeine. Again, I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so it tasted the same to me (and my husband). I'm not too sure about the extra caffeine either, I felt about the same. Then again, I only drink about half a cup of coffee per day maximum, since I am pregnant, and I don't drink everyday either.
It comes in a smaller tin than the regular Maxwell House coffee we buy, and a bit more expensive too. It's an okay coffee to me, but because of the price difference we'll stick to our regular blue tins.
I received a rebate in exchange for an honest review.
DISAPpointed
I tried this product and she quite disappointed. The taste is really awful. Can’t wait to finish it so I can taste better coffee. It has a rough burned taste to it.
More Caffeine, Same Great Taste!
I received the MAX Boost Coffee to try for free in exchange for my honest opinion and I absolutely loved it! Coffee is a MUST for me in the morning and I generally drink two cups depending on how my morning is going and what I have planned for the day. Sometimes after my second cup I tend to get a little jittery and the regrets start to sink in as I may have overdone my caffeine consumption. One pod of these is just perfect! I feel awake and refreshed and ready to tackle my day after just one cup. They contain 1.5x the caffeine of a regular pod and contains no artificial ingredients - just the bean! The brew is said to be medium but as someone who drinks their coffee black, I would almost say this tastes more like a dark roast but amazing nonetheless! I would purchase this product again!
1.5x the Caffine
I’m not a morning person ! Let’s get that out there so no one is confused; every morning I pull myself from my bed, try and pry my eyes open and get myself ready for the world as a productive happy human (roll eyes). I really hate morning - I don’t think you can really understand the feeling I put behind the words but they aren’t nice. If mornings was a person I’d jump them in a ally! We aren’t friends.
My little bit of sunshine that starts my day is coffee and it makes me a little bit more approachable and a little more tolerable! When I saw Maxwell House Max Boost coffee at the store I had to try it, it claims to be 1.5x more caffeine. It tastes, smells and looks like normal coffee but has 205mg caffeine compared to an average 134mg per 1 pod serving of the leading brands.
The coffee is rich and smooth - as a coffee snob I actually enjoyed the stuff! I would recommend this product to anymore who likes or loves coffee, and those who actually need it in the morning !
