It is relatively smudge proof, it is waterproof without actually being mentioned on the packaging, it is sleep proof and if you tend to have oily eyelids, it does not smear or disappear after a long day! The black gel liner is an intense black that is opaque and easy to work with! it also comes off very easily! The best thing about this liner is the price because that little pot lasts me about a year and I wear a thick black cat eye look everyday!
