It's meh

Meh. It has awesome coverage but its pricey and not very great. I found that it stained my nails very bad after I removed it from my nails. It also made my nails peel a bit. I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't care about your nails being stained.

While I understand you get what you paid for, I can't accept the quality of this product. I found that the formula applied nicely and looked good for about 24 hours, but after that the shine completely went away and it chipped EXTREMELY easily. Even if the top coat I applied was high quality the polish lifted and chipped with ease. I tend to buy inexpensive nail polishes that cost less than this with far better quality and I'm sticking to them.

I found a few of these with 'bubbles' in white and a colour with a bit of tinted clear polish and loved them. It's as hard to get off as glitter polish but it looks so cool, particularly as an accent or over a solid colour. Unfortunately I find the colour version of these less great. In particular the Pink Shock seemed to have separated over the winter and doesn't want to blend back together in spite of much shaking and turning the bottle around to move the paint. For someone who doesn't use a lot of polish and generally only in the summer months, this is a big disappointment. I think I'll stick to Essence or Rimmel for cheap polish in colour. They mix right back up again when they separate.

The collection has a variety of colours but it takes too many coats to get the actual, opaque colour. Not worth it when there are better nail polish collections from sally hansen and revlon.

As far as nail polishes go, Maybelline has never really held their own in the market, until now!
Maybelline is finally coming out as being one of the best, drug store brand, nail polish companies, being compared to the likes of Sally Hansen, L'Oreal Paris, and Revlon (I'm not including Essie or OPI because they are also Salon lacquers). Maybelline's new Color Show Collection is full of bright, bursting colors that reflect spring, summer and will take you into fall, while finding a way to squeeze in the classics for winter too. This new nail polish came out just in the nick of time, with summer advancing so quickly, and the weather becoming beautiful rapidly, many of us ladies would look HOT having any of these bright colors on our little piggies!
