The best mascara for a light application

Maybelline’s Great lash mascara is the best mascara if you’re looking for a simple, short lash. It doesn’t make your eyelashes clumpy or flaky, which is rare to find these days. This mascara is definitely my go-to. Recommend 100%

Oldie but a goodie

This mascara is great to have in your makeup bag. I find the brush to be great for separating and coating individual lashes. Do not find it to heavy or clumpy. It’s a older product so I do not find it adds much length but still more then worth it!

I'm sure we've all been buying this for years, good buy.

This mascara was a huge hit years back and it still is. The price is super cheap, the wand is one of my favorites, separates lashes well. It's not heavy so it does not weigh down lashes throughout the day. It is waterproof but it comes off easily when washing off which is great because I really dislike using a separate product to remove mascara. Repeat buyer.

holy grail cheapie = not for sensitive eyes

This was my first mascara, stolen steathily from my mom's small makeup stash. She rarely wore makeup but when she did she chose this mascara. I remember thinking I was so glamorous wearing this. Come to find out, I have a HORRIBLE allergic reaction to this stuff. So many people tout this as a cult fave and I've seen great results. It's affordable, deeply pigmented and long lasting. But if you have any sort of special needs regarding your skincare, this may not be for you. My eyes get red, flakey, watery and develop (ew!) goobers! So, while it's great looking and affordable, you kinda have to be careful if you have sensitive skin.

Wouldn't purchase again

On the plus, this is an inexpensive waterproof mascara. It is water resistant as stated, and it took lots of remover to get it off my lashes. On the downside, I found it dries out fast and it didn't elongate or separate my lashes very well.
It's a shame because I like the non waterproof version of this mascara!

Great mascara for the price.

I wanted to have longer, fuller looking eyelashes. I bought this product and it works! It is also waterproof. A couple of my friends have noticed it, liked it, and bought it. I would definitely buy it again.

Gross.

I don't understand how this is considered a "classic." I know this is what we all started out wearing, but thank god I broke away from it in my teenage years. This is the worst mascara. I didn't know how bad it was when I was using it, but comparing it to the formulas I own now, it was so drying. My lashes very crunchy and every time I blinked flakes would come off. And the waterproof version is even worse. Definitely will never ever ever repurchase this again. Not if it was the last mascara in the world. Especially sad about this because Maybelline isn't cruelty free.

Affordable

Product works and gets all my small lashes. It’s able to coat every single one and makes pop. Great buy for an affordable product. Cheaper at Walmart than most other places.

Have been using forever

This is my go to mascara if I want it to last. I wish however that the brush was a little finer. Price is good and don't mind tossing every 3 months for safety.

not my fav

Not my favorite Maybelline mascara. I felt like the brush was not that great and my lashes clumped up. I also had to apply at least 2-3 coats for my lashes to look long. Not to fond of this mascara unfortunately.
